Fence panels not as described on Website
Ordering and delivery was very efficient and there was no problem when I needed to change the delivery date.
However, the fence panels that were supplied were not as exactly described on the website. Within the description it states, and I quote “Our closeboard fence panel range is fully framed to offer superb stability and long-lasting strength” additionally the front view images depicted a product that is fully framed. Both the the 6ft x 5ft and the single 6ft by 4ft panel I received were not fully framed.

Fingers burned but lesson learned…….
Delivery was ok & on time but builder doing my project over ordered sand & cement. The order receipt clearly states that ANY unopened items can be returned within 14 days for refund, subject to a restocking fee, t&c apply (t&c and buried in their website somewhere). Fair enough. However, despite this very clear and seemingly strightforward statement, the t&c exclude certain items, so the statement is factually false.
I have raised a dispute with my credit card company for payment. Lesson learned and competitors can look forward to my trade for my future projects.

To clarify, our returns policy allows for unopened items to be returned within 14 days, subject to a restocking fee, as stated on your receipt. However, as is standard across all builders’ merchants, perishable goods such as cement, sand, plaster, and similar materials are excluded from return due to the risk of contamination and safety regulations. This is clearly outlined in our full terms and conditions, available both in-store and online.
We always recommend confirming quantities with your builder before placing an order, as we are not responsible for overordered materials. For reference, items such as unopened packs of bricks and blocks are eligible for return with a restocking fee.
We understand your frustration and are sorry that this experience didn’t meet your expectations.

No communication regarding delivery
The ordering process & materials were all good. The only disappointment was with the courier company that delivered it. There was absolutely no contact from them with a date/time of delivery. I was on another site 40 minutes away when I was contacted by the driver who was dropping off! Not his fault but I had to leave my job to go & move them from the pavement that he’d left them on! Better communication from the courier company or BUILDLAND would definitely be a plus going forward!

There was a time when a trip to the builders merchants filled many of us with fear. Being prepared for a whole lot of difficult questions and smirks from behind the counter.
Not at Buildland ! The staff were brilliant. Helpful and friendly.

Ordered Bricks, sand and cement online with no issues from Coventry depot. The delivery was on time and dropped at the kerbside with no damage to material. The delivery driver was excellent.

I'd ordered my materials and went out into the yard and gave my ticket to one of the forklift driver's and waited for it to be picked.
I waited 15 minutes for this and when it arrived he'd brought out what was meant to be Yellow/orange bricks and they were green and covered in moss...
After I'd loaded up the exact amount of bricks he was telling me there were to many, so I proceeded to do a re count.
When we'd confirmed I was correct he told me to F off in a threatening manner.....
So be carful if you visit this Branch.
