Cozy hoodie for WFH days
Since moving to remote work I basically live in this oversized hoodie. It's presentable enough that if I need to turn my camera on quickly I don't look like a complete mess. The kangaroo pocket fits my coffee mug. Living my best life.

Hockey game casual top
Threw this vintage-wash graphic tee under my Leafs jersey for the game and it was perfect. Soft enough to be comfortable for 3+ hours in arena seats and it doesn't smell after getting beer spilled on it. That's a win in my book.

Cute but the arms are weirdly tight
Love the style of this peasant blouse but the elastic at the wrists cuts into my arms and leaves marks. I don't have particularly large wrists either. The body of the blouse is flowy and beautiful but those wrist cuffs need a redesign.

Turtleneck season essential

Plaid flannel that's actually fitted
Every flannel I've ever owned has been boxy and unflattering but this one is actually tailored for a woman's body. Darts at the bust, slightly nipped waist, and the red plaid is very classic Canadiana. Wear it with everything.

Best layering tee for Canadian weather
You know how it can be -15 in the morning and +5 by afternoon? This merino base layer handles it all. Thin enough to layer under a sweater but warm on its own. No pilling after months of wear. Worth every dollar.

Nothing fancy just a solid black dress that i can dress up or down. The fabric has some weight to it which i appreciate, no see through nonsense. I rotate between this and two other dresses for work. Its held up through probably 50 washes now.

Thought I'd be cute wearing a dress on the trails. Spoiler: I was not. The skirt kept blowing up, the fabric stuck to my legs when I sweated, and it offered zero protection from bugs. It IS a cute dress for literally any other occasion though.

Runs about a size large
I normally wear an 8 in Canadian sizing and the 8 was swimming on me. Exchanged for a 6 and it fits much better. The material is nice - a substantial ponte knit - and the structure holds up well throughout the day. Just size down.

Red and white obviously but in a classy way - it's a red fit-and-flare with white piping details. Wore it to the fireworks on Parliament Hill and it was festive without being tacky. The cotton is breathable for July heat. Love love love.

Threw this on for a cottage weekend

Got this on sale at the Bay for like $40 and honestly it's fine. Not the most amazing quality but for a casual summer dress it does the job. The linen blend wrinkles but that's linen for ya. Good enough for farmers market runs.t
