Cancelled my subscription. Yet 4 months later i got threatening emails saying payment overdue!
No payment is overdue. I will not pay for something that is cancelled.
Disgraceful way to run a site. The ombudsman has been informed and hopefully they will shut them down.
Terrible site, Terrible customer service, just a scam to get money.

I have seen quite a bit of negativity here. I signed up for the premium service and was charged for one month £9.96, although the number of members are pretty less to be honest, that's why have initially decided to cancel and sent the cancellation form via the link on the website. I hope they will process my cancellation soon.

Might come back soon if the number of members increase. they need to work a bit more on the service I suppose

SCAM. I did cancel the subscription like requested in T&C but they still charged me. I am now calling off the credit cards and report them to police

When you subscribe it clearly says cancel anytime yet when you want to cancel your subscription in the app they tell you to send them an email. You then get the email back to say:
"Please note that our messaging system accepts tickets according to the date they were sent with the oldest first. If you send multiple emails they will go to the back of the queue, therefore, a response to your query may be delayed." Its not cancel anytime service at all. I am reaching out British Standards Institution. Funny how there is no one to ansfer your email yet somehow they have staff to respond to all negative reviews on Trustpilot.

I wish I saw these reviews before signing up, I’ve been wanting to cancel my membership and delete my account , c date make it impossible just so they can keep taking your money.

Please avoid, the profiles are false, same person has several profiles and the chats are generated by 'bots'. This business needs closing down by the authorities.

C-dating are vile robbing scum!!! I’ve been try to end my contract and can’t. They’ll take £100’s off me in fines be NOT allowing to cancel. Never ever join these theives.

I sent and email on the 7th of May explaining I want to cancel my subscription they’re claiming I didn’t tell them and they’ve referred my account to a debt collection agency. Let me make this absolutely clear I will not be paying a penny to them and will fight it in civil court if I have to. Please review your emails and see that I did cancel within the time frame furthermore this form you mentioned is nowhere to be found your site is a scam!

i have been trying to cancell now overdue and they want money.
very sly and un professional i want my account deleting and i will not be paying the bill.
i tried cancelling on the app which is impossible and you guys are purposely making it easy to slip into these disputes with innocent people to get there money.
why cant you be clear and transparant with what you are doing rather than trying to con people?

My ex roommate called me today to say that he has received letters from some body asking to pay something, else it would be taken to court.
it was some outstanding payment for c-date which I am not aware of. How did c-date verify its me and how did c-date know my postal address ? . Is there a contact no. i can reach out to c-date?

This is how these scammers work.

Trial period low price then automatically renew at inflated cost. Make it hard to cancel, if you take action they send solicitors letters that hound you remorselessly....then they write nice things on scam review websites as though they have excellent customer service. All done to delay and get you to part with more cash.
A TOTAL SCAM!!!!! DO NOT ENGAGE!

Want to cancel my subscription and it is an absolute nightmare. I emailed using the form provided and I have not received any response.

On the site, it is impossible to cancel as they don't have the option and your subscription will be automatically renewed.

This is by far the worst site I have had to deal with. The police should get involved and block and arrest the people behind such fraud.

I have tried to cancel my subscription to this site but they do not seem to be auctioning my request to close my account and stop any automatic billing

I have tried to cancel my subscription using the email address supplied, but have been advised that the email address does not exist.

Fake site, all fake profiles, they illegally take money from your account without your knowledge. I never put my card details in and then had my bank contact me as a payment had been taken.

I want to cancel my subscription I there no way to do it. They cahrged me 10 times more than normal . Big scam . I never pay anything because they charged me against my consent.

Scam company. I didn't even sign up to this, my credit card instantly flagged this up and blocked all further payments. Now I am getting text's from a company called CARS. (They can't even be bothered to send letters out or someone to my address to collect the money). Good luck trying to get any money from me, I know full well that a 'contract' defined by law has to be signed or agreed by both parties, I have not given consent for this. My advice to anyone is to ignore all letters as they no legal power to carry out any of the threats they put forward. The letters are designed to scare people into paying something that they don't have to. None of the letters are passed through a real Court as they won't have any court seals on them. If you are worried please call the company and just ask for proof of claim and full details of the contract. They will never ever give this to you as they don't have it. All they offer you is ways to pay them money.

totally agree with all the complaints signed up for one month to try it on a promotion decided to cancel two weeks in I was told I could only cancel 2 days before subscription was due to end there's a delete section on the website that doesn't work the only way you can cancel is by fax or mail to make it as difficult as possible I now supposedly owe 303 euros I've told them I'm willing to dispute it in court your not getting a penny off me I've contacted a solicitor and ready to meet you in court I suggest everyone does the same I've also been told to report them to action fraud please whatever you do stay away from these crooks

this is my reply my question is if you can sign up online why cant you cancel online a don't say you can because you can't I've expressed I want to cancel on numerous emails but my account says its temporarily suspended I want it closed ASAP

one star is to much for this company I'm beginning to think this company is run by robots not real people because real people other then thieves would understand me

This is an organized scam. Do not sign up for anything. They charge you under the guise of a cheap £3 membership which isn't even £3 (it's actually £10), make cancelation difficult AF, and send collections after you.

I wasnt even aware of being in a subscription with them only looked on there site & now cant cancel so called account with them & being threatened with lawyers letters but sent them numerous emails & get no response so what you supposed to do avoid at all costs they are scam website
