I rent a small fiat 500 hybrid from 07th till 11th January, 5 days. I was planning to pick up the car in Lisbon Airport. The previous days I received a message via whatsapp with precise instructions on how to avoid the Airport and take the car in the city office. Check in was swift and staff professional. Car was in very good condition. Check out at the Airport was also fast and pro with a free minibus to the departure terminal. I month later (middle of February) I was thinking they have done a mistake with my credit card. I contact their customer service. I have to say they were again very patience and professional. Definitely will recommend this Agency. Thanks

Betrug mit Ansage
Zum Fall: Wir kamen mit gültiger Vollkaskoversicherung über DiscoverCars. Am Schalter wurde uns mit Nachdruck erklärt, diese sei "hier nicht gültig". Eine glatte Lüge, wie uns DiscoverCars später schriftlich bestätigte. Ergebnis: 350 EUR für eine Versicherung, die wir nie brauchten.
Als wir noch am selben Tag stornierten, wurde es richtig unangenehm: abweisend, arrogant, null Lösungsbereitschaft.
Und das Beste: Gegenüber DiscoverCars behauptete Cael, sie hätten uns "ruhig und transparent" informiert. Wer so schamlos lügt, erst dem Kunden ins Gesicht, dann dem Geschäftspartner, und jetzt hier öffentlich, hat jedes Vertrauen verspielt.
Meidet Cael wie die Pest. Egal wie günstig das Angebot aussieht, am Ende zahlt ihr drauf und werdet behandelt wie Vieh.
Nie. Wieder.

Prélèvement CB indu... et non remboursé
La garantie CB pour le paiement du péage (50€)a été immédiatement débitée (alors que le ticket papier mentionnait "pré-autorisation seulement"). Aucune réponse obtenue aux différents mails et explication de l'hôtesse d'accueil qui renvoie vers ma banque.
Au final que ce soit involontaire ou non les 50€ sont perdus.

Wonderful service at a good price
Booked directly via their website - quick and simple booking procedure. On arrival at the airport, the shuttle service was there already waiting. A quick transfer to the main office, with only a very short wait to be served. Very friendly and professional service given at the desk by Julia. She offered us the option to upgrade to their full insurance, but under no obligation for us to do so. We took this up so didn't have to worry about any additional fees apart from road tolls. The car was new and as expected, and we did not experience any issues with it during use. Returns procedure was quick and simple, with an instant transfer back to the airport. Great service all round, thank you!

When we arrived we got a car with the rear seats that were pop-up seats.
Hardly any room for the passengers sitting in these seats.
When I spoke to the representative,
He said that they don’t have minivans!!! Only 7 seater cars

Avoid! Charged >500 euros for minor damages that most certainly had been there for months, and staff was dismissive and very unfriendly at both Check-in and Check-out.

Cette agence est une vraie arnaque
Cette agence est une vraie arnaque. Certes, l'offre est effectivement alléchante, mais c'est pour mieux nous plumer derrière. L'état des lieux est fait très rapidement et succinctement. J'ai relevé de nombreux autres défauts que ceux déjà mentionnés, photos à l'appui. Malheureusement, nous n'avions pas fait attention au pare-brise (qui n’a d’ailleurs pas été vérifié non plus par la personne de l'agence).
Au retour, ils font par contre un état des lieux très, très minutieux. Ils nous ont prélevé 615 euros pour un impact de 1 ou 2 mm sur le pare-brise (à peine visible). Nous n'avons entendu aucun choc en roulant pouvant certifier qu'on a pris un petit caillou. Nous pensons sincèrement qu’il était là avant qu’on prenne le véhicule.
Malheureusement, comme l’a stipulé la personne de l'agence : « C'était de votre responsabilité de tout relever… »
J'ai pu faire le tour du parc des véhicules stationnés : de nombreux présentaient le même problème.
À fuir, ou alors faites très, très attention à l’état des lieux d’entrée...
