Cakehead Reviews

Great service and would highly recommend.
Thank you Lauren Nicholson for all your help.
Jonathan

I have now bought four, different selections from Cakehead, including the vegan and Easter ones, both as gifts, and one for myself. It is incredibly rare that I can write a review with not a single word of criticism, but this is the case here. I can happily say that everyone who received them, absolutely loved them, and not only found the cakes delicious, but also really appreciated the personal touches, and the eco-friendly packaging. I would also add that they are very good value for money, and delivery fast and efficient. I won't hesitate to buy from them in the future.

What do you get the person who has everything for their special day. Whether it’s a birthday or any other special day. I sent my younger brother some brownies for a birthday treat, he is very difficult to buy for. On the hottest day of the year he received the parcel intact and delicious. He was chuffed to bits. I have two other family birthdays coming up and will be sending more brownies to more of my family for their special days. The only difficulty is which selection to send as so much choice. I love that there isn’t any additional costs with postage and the products are beautifully wrapped. I think I have all birthdays and Christmas’s covered without the stress of disappointment and keeping the receipt. Lovely products and great customer service.

Here is my review:

Customer Service = 5 star (a lovely team)
Packaging & Delivery = 5 star
Quality of cakes/ingredients = 5 star
Cost of product = 5 star
Negative feedback = none
Ways to improve = none, everything was perfect.

What beautifully made and delightful cakes. When you bite into them, you know they are top quality ingredients. I haven't tasted cakes as good as this for many years. I will never again buy cakes again from supermarkets. Great for business use, parties, buffets, special occasions, Christmas, Easter and personal treats for the family. If you are thinking of purchasing, do not hesitate, you will be 100% happy!!

Will I be buying again?.......ok course I will! Cant wait to try more!

Not only are their vegan brownies fantastic (loved by non vegans too!), their service is excellent. I ordered for the wrong date and only realised at the last minute. The team at Cakehead sorted it out and I got my brownies in time for our party 🎉
They will remain my go to for party catering or lovely postal gifts.

The vegan and gluten-free brownies - incredible! Moist, with the right amount of chocolatey sweetness. A very well balanced box of flavours.

Nancy really helped look after me and my order and I am grateful for her kind efforts.

Great website, flawless customer service, very good packaging which made sure the goods were received in perfect condition, good value for money!!!Especially as next day delivery was inclusive in the price. Bought these cakes as a Birthday present for a friend: they made a delicious gift & we were told they were of "excellent"quality. This tempts us to order more for ourselves & definitely recommend to Friends & Family. This company just translates into pure quality.

I ordered 2 x indulgent boxes for the staff at my child’s school. I placed this order over the phone and the person I spoke to was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her. I will definitely order from this company again as she made the process so easy.

Warning - these cakes are very very addictive! Amazing quality and gift boxes to suit all occasions. All wrapped immaculately and just taste amazing. Amazing caramel shortbread and the brownies ...well they are to die for! :) I just love them all! Fabulous company, fabulous quality and a must for cake lovers. Keep up the good work x

Absolutely delicious. I was afraid they would be small, but they aren't, and the flavours taste just like home-made. Will definitely order again.

Family love them. I will certainly be ordering as gifts again.

This was my first time using this company. I ordered the gluten free cakes for friend's birthday. She sent me a pic before tucking in, they looked superb and she said they tasted absolutely delicious.

We initially had a few issues but I must say the customer service team have been fantastic. Our latest box contained some yummy gluten free and vegan brownies. The chocolate orange were our favourite! The brownies exceeded our expectations, and our friends loved the non gluten free ones too! Extremely responsive and understanding customer service. Thank you.

We placed an order with Cakehead to celebrate Employee Appreciation Day earlier this year within our company. Needless to say, we had a very pleasant experience from ordering to receiving the sweet treats.

We were served by Lauren and she was extremely helpful throughout the process and ensured that the products were sent out in order to be received on the correct day. She even went further to print thank you notes to each team member, which made the experience all the more personal.

Thank you to the team at Cakehead! We at Vantage DC were very impressed and look forward to ordering again in the near future.

Bought the Vegan and Gluten Free Variety box on two occasions, and they do not disappoint. Taste delicious, great variety of flavours, arrive so fresh. Packaging is excellent and stylish and the personalised note is a lovely touch.
Delivery has been spot on both times and the customer service is brilliant.
I would definitely recommend Cakehead and will be using them again and again.

Amazing treats, our team can't get enough of it!
Special thanks to Lauren N. for her friendly and professional service!
We will be back :)

Amazing and friendly service, excellent prices and the brownies taste out of this world, will definitely be ordering more - ordering was so easy and with the Vegan/Gluten Free options available as well this made for such ease. The presentation box they arrived in looked so nice and with the personalized sticker inside this was brilliant attention to detail - the brownies melt in your mouth so yummy - the whole team loved them - thank you so much

I received a box of Gluten Free/vegan Billionaire shortbread, orange Brownies & nut Brownies within a day of ordering well wrapped in a lovely presentation box & containing several messages saying " put the kettle on, you deserve these & enjoy. " My husband & I agreed they were worth every penny, delicious & moreish & they certainly brightened up my day after a brutal knee operation. Perfect treat for a loved one, present or for yourself as a delicious treat.

I used this company to send out some mixed brownie/cake gifts and also had the pleasure of sampling some myself. They were honestly the nicest brownies I have tasted and the presentation was excellent.

It was great to know that the gifts sent out were of such good quality.

The ordering process was easy and everything was sent out on time and in accordance with the instructions given. The communication with the company was also very good throughout.

I will certainly be ordering again!

I wish I could recall how I came across this absolute gem of a company but it in the great scheme of things I guess that doesn't matter, only that now I've discovered it, there's no going back!
My first order was as a Christmas gift so unfortunately I didn't get to experience its delights personally. However the recipient of my gift made time to write a thank you email telling me how scrumptious her gift was and how much her family loved the contents.
So, I recommended Cakehead to my son who was looking for a gift for his auntie and uncle.
Again the feedback was nothing short of 100% positive.
Well I thought it was about time I found out for myself.
I manage a small team and we hadn't all been together for over 2 years, so when we recently planned a wee socially distanced gathering back in the office, my treat was to supply the cakes. Back in the day it would have been 10 fudge donuts from Greggs, but no more!
I ordered The Happy Box. 18 portions of delicious yummyness, and now I'm boss of the year, with bells on.
We've still got a way to go before we're all under the same roof again, but when we are, I've been instructed to supply more, or risk losing my boss of the year crown.
No arguments from me.
On a more practical note, delivery is free, beautifully packaged, and at your door the following day.
You're welcome 😁
