Cambridge Book Publishing Reviews

Excellent service from the beginning till publishing and onwards.....

After speaking with several different publishers I finally chose to go with Cambridge book publishing due to the great response times and support felt. Omar put Mary-Grace in charge of my journey and I have loved every step. Communication is spot on, she is attentive and thorough. I’m delighted with how the process is going and I’m extremely grateful for Mary-Graces time and dedication.

I am a first time author and my experience has been nothing but wonderful even though we are just beginning our journey. Our representative was warm and encouraging and went out of her way to show all the support she could. Thank you so much

We couldn’t be happier with the work from Cambridge Book Publishing. Our 10-year-old son has been writing books for several years and now wants to explore the world of publishing. Mary Grace has been enthusiastic and encouraging from the beginning and our son is very excited to see his ideas looking so professional. We receive regular updates about his book and our whole experience has been very positive. Thank you so much!

Working with Mary Grace throughout the journey of bringing our book We are All Storytellers by ANIMA to life has been a genuinely wonderful experience.

From the very beginning, Mary Grace was warm, personable, approachable and consistently responsive. She showed a genuine interest not only in the book that Amina and I were creating, but also in the ideas, experiences and passions that inspired us to write it.

What I particularly valued was that our conversations often went beyond the practicalities of publishing. We spoke about life, creativity, personal experiences and the deeper motivations behind writing. There was something wonderfully human about those interactions, and I often came away feeling encouraged, understood and inspired.

Of course, Mary Grace represents a publishing company, and part of her role is to guide authors through the process and promote the services they provide. But my experience of her went well beyond that. I felt a genuine sincerity in her approach, a real interest in our work and a personal commitment to helping us create something we could be proud of.

Publishing a book is more than simply producing a finished product. It is often a deeply personal journey, and having someone who recognises and respects that makes an enormous difference.

I am grateful to Mary Grace and the wider team at Cambridge Book Publishing for helping Amina and me bring our book into the world and onto Amazon.

Most of all, I am grateful for the kindness, encouragement and humanity Mary Grace brought to the experience. It never felt like just another business transaction, and that, to me, is what made working with her so special.

I’m an author of poetry I’m being published by Cambridge book publishers,Mary grace has been wonderful helped me been there for me when I lost my little chihuahua last week devastating, she’s a brilliant mentor and hopefully friend she’s the best regards Julie Roby

Cambridge Book Publishing, and in particular Mary Grace, made the experience of getting my first book to print so easy. Mary Grace and the team have great advice, were transparent throughout and responding quickly and helpfully to feedback. I’m now in the process of publishing my second book and look forward to a lasting partnership.

And working with Cambridge on my first book which will hopefully be released soon,Mary Grace has been a delight to work with. She is very compassionate about her work, she listened to my needs and gave great advice and feedback all the while being caring and understanding. Everyone else I have dealt with at Cambridge have been very professional, knowledgeable and supportive. I have enjoyed them being a part of my journey.

I made the enquiry about publishing my book in April 2026. Omar, who was brilliant, contacted me very quickly, explained a few things & said Mary Grace would contact me. Mary Grace is patient, kind, reassuring, understanding, professional, so enthusiastic & gets rid of any doubts you may have about your book. It’s been an absolute pleasure working with her❤️

Mary Grace was very patient with me and talked me through each section explaining every detail which to an 81 year old computer illiterate was of immense help. When this book is a best seller it will be all down to her and kindness.

I am in the process of getting my children’s book published. I worked with Omar at the start of the process, who was very helpful in explaining everything and gave such thoughtful and detailed feedback about my manuscript. He was patient and allowed me to have many calls and ask lots of questions before making my decision.

However, it is Mary who has taken my book through the process. She has been so kind in every interaction, and her communication has been incredible. I’m so grateful to have such a lovely and knowledgeable person taking me through the process. Mary has always kept me updated and worked closely with the team at every stage.

The illustrations have been completed to a high standard, and all feedback and amendments have been carried out quickly. The team at Cambridge Book Publishing have all been professional, knowledgeable and supportive.

Although I haven’t finished the project yet, and I’m yet to see the marketing side, I am so happy I decided to publish with them and can’t wait to see my book being published.

Watch this space for the release of "Cheeky Choony and the Not-So-Scary Night."

Thank you to Mary, Omar and the team for their incredible hard work and dedication. As a company im so happy with the process.

Had my book published by Cambridge book publishing.
Always had answers to my questions, great communication.
Kept their promise about publishing, took a bit longer to get things done in time, but at the end all was solved.
Was a great experience to publish a book with an UK publisher !

I am very grateful to Cambridge Publishing for their support, in particular to Omar and Mack who have always been very positive about my children’s book and been in weekly contact with me with the progress of the illustrations and making any changes I required. The team has given me advice and encouraged me all the way so far. I am excited to see my project develop further and see what lies ahead.

Coming to the end of the process now with my two books; has been hard work, but Cambridge Book Publishing this far in have been very good every step of the way.
The team have been kind, helpful and one I`d recommend.
Appreciated..

Avoid if you value your work.

Don't even deserve one star! Such a dishonest company. Promise to call you back and never do. Charge an absurd price for the bare minimum, but dress it up in their invoice to sound as though they are actually doing a lot more! Kept hounding me for money before the project was finished. Added an additional £100 for content so poor I couldn't use it! Wouldnt listen to what I wanted and kept making mistakes after mistakes. No kindle version publishing which was part of the agreement. Published in america rather than uk. Tried tricking me to pay for their higher package by suggesting it was a discounted promotion. When i asked if the £260 i already paid would be deducted as well, they said no, Basically wanting me to pay the "discount" offer of £800 for their global package (which is literally just a box to tick) which would come to the normal price with what I had already paid. Basically spent £620 for them to upload it onto amazon, tick a couple of boxes, make the pages look pretty and that's all! Any work they did do I consider only £20 worth!
Currently going through legal means to get a refund and will chase it all the way to the Ombudsman!

UPDATE 12/09/2026

The company’s reply below is misleading and deflects from the actual issues. I want to clarify the facts for prospective authors:

1. No discounts or lower rates were provided. When I raised formal complaints regarding substandard work and missing deliverables, I was met with an outright refusal of a refund.

2. Visuals and communication: WhatsApp was the communication method they requested. At no stage during the process did they raise quality warnings about the files provided; instead, they praised the artwork until issues arose after delivery. My request was simple page-fitting, which was poorly handled.

3. Conditional support and review suppression: The company’s offer to "resolve" the issue was explicitly made conditional upon me deleting this Trustpilot review first. After multiple missed deadlines, unfulfilled promises (including the missing Kindle UK release), and constant upselling, I have completely lost confidence in their service and will not remove honest feedback under pressure.

4. Current listing does not equal satisfaction: The book is available solely because it is my intellectual property, and I had hard publication deadlines to keep. It remains live temporarily while I personally spend time and money fixing their mistakes for a proper re-release. Leaving it live to recoup steep out-of-pocket costs does not constitute endorsement.

I have retained all written correspondence documenting the agreed deliverables, the missed commitments, and the conditional offer to help only if this review was taken down.

Being a client of Cambridge Book Publishers I find it to be a very satisfying membership in terms of the guidance and support I received. Because the company is very pro educational and with the ethos of providing such vital service both on the local and global levels.

As a retired novice in book publishing I contacted Cambridge Book Publishing with a view to getting my book published. They assured me they would support me and include me in every part of the process in getting my book published. They were true to their word and I had the final word on every stage. The result: my book was published on Amazon on the 22nd June. My thanks go to Omar and Mack for their advice and professionalism throughout. I would certainly recommend this company to anyone who wants to get their book published.

I was wary when I signed up with Cambridge Book Publishing, and wondered just what I would get for my upfront fee.
I have to say, so far I can't fault the service I have received. Omar has been very helpful and responsive from our first encounter and my book is now at the promotion stage.
The publishing world is a minefield. It is nigh on impossible to have a book accepted by a traditional publisher. I have written a couple of follow up manuscripts and would be happy to use Cambridge again.

Outstanding Experience with Cambridge Book Publishing

I cannot speak highly enough of my experience with Cambridge Book Publishing.

From the very beginning of the process through to final approval of my book, their professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care for the project have been exceptional. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and every question or request was handled promptly and thoughtfully.

Omar and his team have been truly amazing to work with. Their guidance, patience, and commitment to getting everything just right went far beyond my expectations. The level of detail they applied to editing, formatting, and the overall presentation of the book was outstanding, and it is clear they take real pride in the work they produce.

As a first-time author, the publishing process could have felt daunting, but Cambridge Book Publishing made the entire journey feel smooth, supportive, and even inspiring. I always felt listened to, respected, and confident that my work was in safe hands.

They have helped turn something very personal into a finished book I am truly proud of.

A fantastic team and a genuinely excellent experience.

As a first‑time author, the journey to publishing my debut book Unmasking Deceit: True Tales of Online Scam and How to Avoid Becoming the Next Victim (published 6 March 2026 on Amazon, Waterstones, and other platforms) was both exciting and daunting. I knew from the start that I didn’t want to self‑publish; I wanted the traditional, structured, and professionally guided route. With countless publishing companies available, choosing the right one felt like navigating a maze.

After extensive research, Cambridge Book Publishing stood out immediately. Their graphic design quality was exceptional: clean, modern, and visually compelling. Their pricing was reasonable, transparent, and far more professional than many of the alternatives I had encountered. Every email I received from them was structured, courteous, and reassuring, which already set them apart from the rest.

Being someone who takes due diligence seriously, I conducted thorough background checks before committing. Cambridge scored an impressive 99% in my personal assessment, which gave me the confidence to engage their services.

Like any meaningful journey, ours began with a few teething problems. It was during this phase that I met one of their outstanding team members, a highly skilled, patient, and remarkably professional individual who became the anchor of my publishing experience. She challenged me when I needed direction, encouraged me when I felt like walking away, and remained respectful even when my frustrations got the better of me. Her follow‑up emails, consistent updates, and unwavering commitment ensured that I always knew where we stood in the process.

Although our contract is still ongoing, Cambridge Book Publishing has already exceeded my expectations. They have delivered genuine value for money, demonstrated flexibility by offering alternatives when certain services were unavailable, and maintained a level of professionalism that is rare in today’s publishing landscape.

For any author, especially first‑timers seeking a trustworthy, competent, and genuinely supportive publishing partner, I can confidently say that Cambridge Book Publishing is a company that honours its word and invests in its clients’ success. I am grateful I didn’t give up in the early stages, because the results speak for themselves.

A truly commendable experience.
