I visited Cambridgeshire Coins who were visiting a village that is fairly local to my home. I went with a variety of things - some very sentimental - and so I guess I was feeling a little apprehensive.
I have to say that Nico was the ultimate professional. Very knowledgeable and he quickly sorted my items into what had interest to Cambridgeshire Coins. He gave me some helpful information on all the items, even though some were not applicable to his business. It really felt like he respected the items and where they originated from, which made the whole process feel dignified & positive.
Nico was so patient and offered me what I am sure was a fair price for the pieces that he was interested in. Thank you Nico.

I would recommend this company for fair valuations and just for an all-round positive experience. I have sold many items to other dealers, and have often felt rushed, questioning and regretful afterward. These guys were the opposite. They really have been a pleasure to have done business with and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody.

I was not pushed into selling anything I didn't want too and the actual sales transaction was very quick, the money was in my account within a matter of minutes.

Simply one of the best and most engaging coin-buying experiences I’ve had. Simon Jones clearly knows his stuff — a lifetime of working with coins is obvious from the moment you speak with him. He took the time to share his passion and deep knowledge, which made the whole visit even more enjoyable.

The shop itself is like an Aladdin’s cave, full of coins and banknotes from all over the world. There is so much to see, and it is clear that this is far more than just a business — it is a genuine passion.

Very friendly, gave good individual valuations for most of my items.
Some valuations were lower than I hoped for or expected, but overall I accepted the collective valuation. On hindsight, perhaps I should have got a second opinion particularly for items with diamonds.

Very easy to sell my old gold for cash. You can have cash or your money put straight into your bank account. Marc was very friendly & checked the gold with no fuss I would use them again.

A short wait, a welcoming greeting, put me at ease. I had only one item which was examined with great care,explained it's value which we discussed and I was pleased to accept the offer.

I met Marc and presented him with a pile of items which he meticulously sorted through, weighed what was saleable and offered me a price. I had gone to see Cambridgeshire Coins pop up in two minds if I would actually sell but Marc was professional and transparent so I took the price he offered. I was asked for ID and I was given the option of cash or bank transfer and the money was transferred to my account as I sat there. I would certainly do business with Marc again.
