absolutely wonderful presentation by the owner. The shop was one of the outings that we had during our tour on Viking cruises. It was one of the highlights of the trip. Bought some great wine which was shipped directly to my home and received a few days after I arrived back from my trip.

We had a wonderful wine tasting with Beatrice. 7 wines with excellent foods to pair. Wine and food and local stories made it one of the best experiences of the trip. We highly recommend the tasting and the options to purchase wines and local foods.

Presentation made by Beatrice and the hospitality of Raul are the highlights of the visit. Their products are of the highest quality and they have products from all over Italy. Whatever one is looking for, they have it all. The wine, olive oil, truffles, liquors, salty and savory snacks, hazelnuts, rice, amaretti.... If you're in Stresa you should visit Cambusa Wine Shop. Unforgettable experience.

We went as part of a Senior Discovery Tours experience while in Stresa. We thoroughly enjoyed the wine tasting, the recipe knowledge shared by Beatrice and the learning process about different olive oils and balsamic vinegars. A wonderful end to our time in Italy! I just wish we could have the recipes in print form.

Wonderful. We visited this shop recently. The wines we tried were each excellent. We also tasted a variety of herb blends, tomato products, prepared treats and other specialty items. I’d definitely recommend this as a stop for anyone interested in authentic regional foods and wines. We purchased a number of products and plan on ordering more since they make shipping easy!

Had very nice wine tasting at Cambusa. The owner Ruben and his staff are very friendly and while tasting we were given tapas that they sell in the store, the whole experience with the 7 wines we tasted and the stories told with them, just perfect! We recommend this store to everyone and will definitely come back when in the area.

Stumbled upon this gem while walking thru old town Stresa. We overheard a group finishing up a wine tasting. We scheduled one for the next day. Not only were the wines and food fantastic, but Beatrice made us feel like a member of her family as she told us stories of the history of the store and her family. It was the highlight of our trip. We had an added treat when her young grandchild visited. Highly recommend.

We first visited La Cambusa back in 1994, with my parents. My Dad and I just fell in love with the wine shop and learned a lot about Italian wines (and Stresa) from Rosaria. We did a few tastings and ended up overspending on some amazing Barolos.

We've been back to Stresa several times since and La Cambusa might be my favorite wine store in the world, largely due to the rich family history there. Recently, we did a "Taste of Italy" wine tasting with newlyweds from Finland (we are from California, near Napa Valley) with Beatrice hosting. The wines were excellent, the winery knowledge completing our understanding, and Beatrice was very easy to talk with. The crudities served with the wines were almost a meal by themselves.

But back to the richness of the experience, first for my father, and now with my wife. After over 3 decades, I can say that I will always look forward to returning...

We did a Taste of Italy at their shop and it was amazing. Learned a lot about the history of the store and family and a lot about the local offerings. We tasted and totally enjoyed. Went back next day purchase products. Definitely recommend.

Very good service and advice!

Small shops are a tourist’s best friend. I was welcomed in and quickly transported into the Italian wine and food experience. The shop owners are a delight to learn from and the selection is beyond comprehension.

A brilliant way to spend a wet, or dry, afternoon in Stresa. Ruben was a wonderful, knowledgeable and funny host. Even managed to find a wine for non-wine drinkers. Accompanying local foods added
to the experience. No pressure to buy anything after the tasting but the choice of taster wines were difficult to ignore. Thanks for a fantastic afternoon. From your Scottish fans.
