Ordered a replacement camera for my son, who has been using my old Minolta x700 which is on it's last legs! The new camera is a Pentax ME Super and is in great condition. It was very thoughtfully wrapped and arrived quickly.

Bought a Yashica Samurai and accessories, items came in much better quality than expected. Max was also really helpful when I reached out regarding an issue I was facing with the film advancing mechanism, and through their prompt replies, helped me to troubleshoot the problem.

Max was brilliant and the product is excellent. I will definitely us Max again.

All my questions were answered before I chose which camera to purchase. Max has lots of comprehensive guides on their website which made it very easy to load up my first film and start shooting. The camera is beautiful (they had done leathering on the one I chose) and the condition was exactly as expected. Quick at responses and very informative.

My purchase was only a vintage Pentax manual, but to my surprise it was brand new and original.

Great service from Cameras by Max. The camera is a present for my mum as she had the same model in the 90s & I was nervous about buying a second hand camera. I ordered a new film camera from Max.
It came well packaged and even includes film and sticker's.
Unfortunately after a month the leather on the camera began coming off.
I sent it back to max and he replaced the leather free of charge.

I Also sent 2 Family cameras in for a repair and service.

Max did a fantastic job servicing them.

My whole family was so happy to have them working again.

I whould highly recommend cameras by max.

Product arrived promptly & exactly as described. In very good condition for a 2nd hand item.

Excellent shop with amazing customer service. Really lovely touches in the packaging, including a little sticker and note card etc. Great experience. I do wish there was more stock / more regular updates, but then again it's a small operation so you can't really fault that. Will be buying again!

What a great experience. I ordered a camera and received it within a few days complete with a discount code for Gulabi (my local lab) and a free roll of Kentmere 400. Really nice experience and feel pleased to purchase from someone who wants to promote film photography. As a side note I bought the same camera from a reputable retailer on eBay... The camera stopped working within a few days, when I asked for support I got an aggressive and angry response. CBM was the opposite experience. Very pleased and will be back for more. Thanks Max
