My children (girl age 9) and boy (age 6), just finished up a week of camp at the Pimlico location with Paul and Sophia. The international nature of the camp, with kids across the world (my children are Australians living in California USA, and travel across Europe for 3 months each summer) was a great experience. I was originally sceptical about booking this camp given some of the reviews I read, but I am glad that I went with my gut instinct and booked the camp! They came home every day very excited to tell me all the activities and games they played and new friends they made, and they were very happy to be dropped off each morning and ran into the gymnasium without second glance back after every check-in. The camp leaders were very kind and everything was really well structured and well organised. The only feedback i would give is 1) possibility of having some photos to share of the daily activities and 2) possibilty to provide snacks and/or lunch, but also understand why not, given allergies and things like that. But neither are deal breakers, and are not high priority at all.

Also - I hope when we come back next year, we could have some camps closer to the city (e.g St Pauls etc) for working parents! See you guys for sure next year!!

My children have attended Camp Beaumont for years (age 4) mostly at Harrow John Lyon and St Augustine’s, and have always loved it. This summer, we tried the St Helen’s site, and sadly it was a huge letdown.

Despite clear instructions, our twins weren’t grouped together or with their friend a big part of why they enjoy camp. There was far too much idle time (kids lying around while staff chatted), and an excessive use of quizzes after nearly every activity. It felt more like school than a holiday.

Most concerning was the rigid “4 strikes” punishment system. My son was penalised for things like asking questions or getting slightly excited normal child behaviour. Laying down whilst kids are expected to sit in silence whilst staff chat to each other. One child missed swimming due to the 4 strike rule. We had also flagged in advance that my son 7yrs old required understanding and support for emotional regulation needs, but staff didn’t seem to respond with understanding or support. He was even told not to be “excited” at even the smallest thing, how is that fair at a summer camp?

This is not the inclusive, energetic Camp Beaumont we know. I hope they seriously review the behaviour policy and staff training at St Helen’s — especially around neurodiversity, emotional needs, and positive discipline.

My daughter and my two nephews described their experience at the King’s College School camp as the worst camp they have ever attended.

They did not enjoy the experience at all and felt that the overall atmosphere was negative. They reported that some coaches frequently shouted, and several children were unkind. It seemed the staff lacked the tools and strategies to manage the children with both firmness and kindness, which contributed to an uncomfortable environment.

Overall, it felt as though the coaches were more focused on ticking off activities from a schedule—which, according to one of the staff members, had been adjusted to suit their convenience—than on creating a fun environment for the children. For example, the swimming session was rescheduled to 9:30am because of low attendance in the 11–14 age group.

I sincerely hope you take this feedback seriously and thoroughly review your team’s training, supervision to ensure a much better experience for future participants.

My 2 little ones, 4 and 7 spent a day at Marsh Farm and had the best time!

My son loved his week at the Epsom camp. He had such a great time that we’ve booked him in for another week

This was the first time I have used Camp Beaumont (Marsh Farm) I was very nervous and apprehensive. My 7 yr old has ASD and Sensory Processing Disorder, this was all explained on the booking form and reviewed by staff. On arrival we were greeted by Paul, Becky and Rihanna, they all made us feel welcome and instantly comfortable and included my little boy in activities straight away. Becky spoke to me more about my little boys needs and even got him some special ear plugs if he decided he didn’t want to use his ear defenders. I left him feeling confident that he was going to be well looked after, which he was. When I picked him up he was so happy, telling me all the fun things he had done and how he wanted to go again. I would definitely recommend Camp Beaumont and we will definitely use them again.

Camp Beaumont in Rochester is a great place for kids to spend their summer. My kids had a good experience and enjoyed the various activities on offer. The staff were friendly and helpful. The camp is well-organized and provides a safe environment for kids. We were happy with the experience and would consider sending our kids back in the future.

The best summer camp I’ve ever been to. My son absolutely loves it, especially the swimming sessions at the Rochester branch. The staff and facilities are amazing, and there’s a sense of structured freedom that helps the kids develop independence and respect. My son never comes home disappointed and is always happy to go back.

My son loves camp Beaumont! All the staff are so lovely and there’s always new activities happening to keep him busy. I’d highly recommend to any parent.

Both my daughters had a great time in the Magic age group at Epsom College. They would like to go back!

Very poor office customer service and the way my serious complaint has been dealt with.
I have booked my daughter for a 4 weeks summer camp at Chinhurst School in Tadworth. On her second day I went to pick her up at around 5pm and saw her barely able to walk. The teachers said that she fell during a game but it was nothing serious hence no cold compress was used or any special attention was given to the situation. It turns out her leg is broken !!!!! She was forced to stay with broken leg for 2 hours without anyone bother to call me or do something to her !!!! I called the office first thing next morning to speak with a member of team which promised manager to call me but no one bothered to call or email to follow up and explain the situation ! Very disappointed and would not recommend leaving your child there giving how the dealt with !!!! Very very disturbing !!!!

An excellent camp with a wide range of activities and very professional staff. I could really tell that both the kids and the staff were all having a great time, which was so reassuring to see.

Our child had a lovely few days with Camp Beaumont at St Hilary’s. Lovely staff who took time to get to know her, very organised and welcoming and seemed to engage the children in a range of well thought out activities as well as free play.

Kids really loved and enjoyed their camp experience. This is the 3rd term we took the kids to the camp. Amazing team, very friendly and supportive staff.

I was really impressed with Camp Beaumont in Claremont. My child had a wonderful time attending the camp over the last week, with the teens group. She participated in activities like swimming, arts and crafts, basketball, and volleyball. The staff were really friendly, organized, and clearly passionate about providing a fun and safe experience for the kids. The camp leader, Ruby, was particularly great - she was very communicative and ensured that all the children felt included and engaged. The facilities were beautiful and well-maintained and the variety of activities catered to different interests. I liked the relaxed atmosphere and the opportunities for kids to socialize and make new friends. Overall, I'm very happy with the experience and would definitely consider sending my child back to Camp Beaumont in the future.
