We set off from home at 7:45 am, full of excitement but still carrying the weight of work and everyday life. After a long journey south, including stops along the way, we arrived at Camp Wildfire at around 3:00 pm—and from that moment, the entire weekend was epic.

We stayed in the boutique camping area, which made the experience even more special. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating, and the facilities were excellent. Everything felt welcoming and well looked after, allowing us to settle in, relax and enjoy every moment.

There is something magical about leaving normal life behind and stepping into the Camp Wildfire world. The atmosphere, activities, music and wonderful sense of freedom make it so much more than an ordinary weekend away.

One of the most special parts was meeting up again with people we first met there last year. Camp Wildfire brought us together, and they have now become part of our story. Seeing those familiar faces again and sharing another weekend of laughter, adventures and memories made returning feel even more meaningful.

We came home feeling so much lighter and completely invigorated. It was a genuine reset for both mind and body—exactly what we needed.

This was our third Camp Wildfire, and it continues to feel just as special. The journey was worth every mile, and we’re already looking forward to returning for our fourth!

I chose CWF as my first solo festival camping experience because of the great things people had to say about it and it exceeded all of my expectations. This is a friendly, inclusive, safe space for everyone. You can fill your days with activities or just hang around chatting, chilling and taking it in. Either way there's never a dull moment and you're never alone. By night there's also so many options depending on your taste, I personally like to dance the night away but if that's not your vibe you can sit around the camp fire or go watch comedy or a talk, or listen to some chilled bands/ artists.
There are decent toilets which a well managed for the majority of the festival, you can even have a shower... No they're not the best, but what festival do you know where that's even an option without paying extra?
On the topic of cash, this place offers something for everyone at every price point. They even provide kettles if you want to bring your own bits however, there's plenty of food options available.
My slightly negative point is that the evening entertainment differs between the two weeks, so you could miss out on acts who you'd prefer to see due to this. And, you don't know the evenings entertainment lineup ahead of time, which makes it more of a gamble. With that being said, it's not a music festival, so if you're only going for music then this is not for you. This is a whole, well balanced experience.
The range of daytime activities is insane, again there's something for everyone's taste and ability. It's a great place to try new things that you'd never usually encounter or to just do things you know you like!
And finally, Patrols. This took a minute to get my head around but basically think of it like when you were in houses at school and won house points or like Harry Potter or a sports team. You can get into this as much or as little as you'd like but for lots of the people I met, the Patrol is a way of expressing yourself, letting people know what your about, (and to dress up) if you enjoy a bit of cosplay! I arrived thinking I was a Badger but after seeing the Squirrels vibe, I knew they were for me... completely nuts!

So don't be afraid, pull the pull the trigger and book the ticket. Theres payment plans which are very affordable so no excuses.

I booked week 2 last time so now let's see what week 1 has to offer!

This was the best weekend ever. We really didn't know what to expect but as soon as we put our tent up we already made friends with the people around us and the fun began. If you're wanting to try new hobbies, meet amazing people and really just stop being an adult for a weekend you need to go. We booked our tickets for next year as soon as we got home.

The activities are endless, there really is something for everyone at Camp Wildfire. They are spread out over a large area and there is lots of walking to be done to get to them, but they have vehicles available if you need assistance. The entertainment was varied and interesting too. Well worth the ticket cost. The site is lovely too, doing activitiesin the forest was magical.
My only issue was booking the activities is very stressful and confusing, and the camp site toilets in the camping area were very small and by the end of the weekend the smell was awful. If this was improved I would give 5 stars. Overall its a fabulous festival and I would definitely go back.

We booked camp wildfire after a family member had been, thinking it would be a weekend we would do a few activities and chill and then not think of again.... after experiencing the weekend, we immediately booked for 2027, the festival felt so safe, everyone was friendly. Theres so many staff and security around if you need help. Theres a huge variety of activities and food vendors to choose from as well.
It started off really awkward and we had no idea what was happening and by the end of the weekend you are chanting and singing along for your team. Even if you only get to go once, it's an amazing experience

I went to wildfire and had an amazing time a couple of years ago. We rebooked for 2026, but due to a family issue were unable to attend. We tried to sell tickets through the marketplace, but despite it saying there were loads of people waiting and it being sold out, the tickets remained unsold. On the marketplace you cannot reduce the ticket price, so one activities had been registered the resale value is near to nothing, so the marketplace was useless. I'm hoping they improve this process to support their loyal supporters who have genuine reasons for not being able to attend

Camp wildfire is my happy place!! The people that are like an extended family without the drama. The activities that you’ve always wanted to try, and the space to just be yourself.

Camp Wildfire far exceeded my expectations. The ticket was given to me as a birthday present and I went on my own. I was worried I would find it difficult to meet people or that I wouldn't fit in, but the event is well geared up to help solo attendees meet eachother, so it was actually pretty easy. Also, because most people are busy trying new activities, it takes the pressure off and makes it much easier to talk to new people.

It's honestly one of the most inclusive and safe spaces I've found in years and the most fun!

It's definitely worth leaning into the fancy dress for patrols as that adds to the silliness and fun of it all. It felt like reconnecting with my inner child being amongst so many adults wearing squirrel tails and fox ears.

There's absolutely no pressure to try things you don't want to but there's loads of fun activities to try. There are lots of staff available to help if you're not sure about anything. They even have a chill out quiet area if you're feeling overwhelmed or just need a moment to take five.

I loved it and can't wait to go back next year.

For so many things in life, the word inclusive points to a hollow policy statement. At Camp Wildfire, it is a feeling. From the time you arrive, to the time you leave, you can have fun, adventure and, without question, be exactly as you are. You will be surrounded by kindness and people who are welcoming, patient and supportive.

I bought tickets for me and my partner after attending 2025 camp wildfire. I must admit, the vibes and array of activities is what keeps up coming back (yes we already bought vet. tickets for 2027).

The only reason I gave this 4* instead of 5* is that I felt the communication was a bit spotty. We received comms before the event around wildfire precautions (great!) and when we had rain all day Saturday we could have the camp fire back (also great) but we weren't notified if activities got shut down. We tried to go to astronomy Saturday evening, walked all the way in the mud and rain from General Camping to the other side to find the gate for it closed. Also, I appreciate they can contact us via phone (as they have our personal details), however, being in the forest, phone signal is hit and miss. I think my recommendation would be to review better ways to communicate to camp mates, changes in activities and situations.

The only other issue is that for opening and closing ceremony, it was so crowded with people, we couldn't watch it. I feel as though the stadium isn't big enough for the volume of people attending. This is something that really pumped us in 2025, as we were able to feel a part of those activities.

Apart from this minor inconvenience, everything was (as always) fantastic!

Very much enjoyed the experience and have booked again already, it was my first time this year.

The toilet smell is disgusting and it’s not from them being unclean, it’s the chemicals they use.

The booking system for the activities is very stressful and can be confusing, also difficult to get the choices you want. For some of the activities, we had to do warm ups but when it’s only an hour lesson, I think 20 minutes is excessive.

In saying all this, my husband, friend and I thoroughly enjoyed it, and are looking forward to next year.

The best experience I have had in a long time, so much fun!! This festival is different to any other, it's an actual community!! People are so kind, friendly and welcoming. My first time and I was going solo but then I quickly formed friendships in the WhatsApp chat and didn't feel like I was going alone. Met all of these ppl at the festival and made more friends. A lot of ppl go on their own. It's very inclusive and for me the access pass was brilliant, really helps anyone with disabilities. 10/10...I found no faults. Already booked for next year!!

Where do I even begin?

Camp Wildfire totally lives up to the hype! It's a beautiful, magical place filled with excitement, adventure, wonder, and the most special of people.

When I first booked to attend wk1 I was going solo. I joined the WhatsApp groups and went along to some pre-camp meet ups and fell in love with this crazy camp family.

I ended up being a Ranger at Kindling and also attended wk2. 🤣 Not bad for my first year.

I found the whole experience delightful. I enjoyed all of my activities, but have learned that the activities themselves are only the beginning.

The vibes, patrol games and entertainment all go towards making the weekend super special.

I have already booked for 2027 wk2 and am bringing my daughter this time.

Cannot recommend highly enough.

An experience like no other. Make it bonkers or chilled out a weekend as you like. Lots of activities, music, comedy and food and drinks.
Felt very safe and uplifted.
