The customer service at Canofix is excellent. Jeff was extremely helpful and responded to my questions promptly. The quality is brilliant and looks great. I would highly recommend this product and the company.

Today I am installing a canofix canopy for a client and it has been incredibly frustrating. The first bit of trouble was requiring a 14mm masonry bit, which is bigger than the usual masonry bit sets most people own. It doesn't mention that you need this on the product page, but no worries a quick trip to b and q. Now I'm checking all the pieces are there and see that the back plate has been cut out by a blind man, so I check the size and sure enough it was a blind man using his thumb as a measuring stick, a roughly 15mm extra gap was needed for the back plate to fit around the brackets. I say roughly because no care and as taken when the back plate was as originally cut out so the lines cut a long were not square. There's also no cut out for where back plates meet the middle bracket so I notched that myself...after driving home to pick up an angle grinder as I didn't think id be needing it. I then went on to read the blurb after the instructions where it tells you to seal the back plate to the wall with silicone, something that the product page SPECIFICALLY SAYS YOU DO NOT NEED! so that was another trip home for a gun of silicone. All in all it was an hour and a half before I'd even picked up a tool to start the job and the craftsmanship is overall terrible. Looks like it's made by a man with no eyesight in his shed using the width of his thumb for measuring

Like many who do there research, Canofix UK website comes across a little dated, and the Trustpilot reviews giving a little concern.
However my experience has been quite the opposite.
The product I believe is South Korean, and is well made and excellent quality.
The UK distributor is very helpful and the product arrived promptly and is well packaged.
I now have a covered wall way down the side of my house, which looks both elegant and strong.

This canopy was just what I'd been searching for to protect our power wall batteries, power gateway and solar inverter from the elements and not to mention the rookery in tree next door.

Delivery was amazingly quick, at only about 3 days after ordering. The online videos were a really useful preparation for how to install it, and the canopy went up really well.

I did need to spend a few minutes filing down some of the burs on the cut ends of the metal bars before the joining inserts would fit in, and squaring-off the slots cut in the back bar. It would have been nice if those had been done a bit more neatly, but that said it didn't take long to tidy up.

It was a family team effort with 3 of us to put the roof sheet up and in, but with a 4 metre length to handle that was always going to be the way. We felt duly pleased with our achievement.

I accept that time will be the ultimate judge, but I bought it knowing it was a plastic roof, and it certainly looks great currently. Just the job.

Had a 5x1.5m canopy for around 7 years.
It's a good idea let down by the poor quality polycarbonate cover.
Replaced my original one after approx 3 years as it had gone opaque. On advice replaced it with their tinted one, 4 years on it's gone cloudy again due to UV damage not scratching.
It now looks so unsightly that I will not be replacing it again.
Also installing the polycarbonate sheet needs several people if it's long. That is glossed over in the installation videos!

One of the worst companies I've ever dealt with. The director is very rude, never takes responsibility for his failings, and always blames everyone else. It took three attempts to deliver my order, I lost three days, and I had to cancel an appointment. The first one failed because the director hadn't even dispatched the order, despite giving me a delivery date! Second time, the delivery was sent 250 miles away from where I live! I cancelled the order, but the director had other ideas and refused to cancel, telling me it was arriving on a day I told him not to deliver the order? True to form, it didn't turn up! It eventually arrived the next day as I was leaving my house. I was going to return the order, but I was promised a refund by the director for all the inconvenience, but he never issued it. I had to get in touch with my credit card company, and they sorted it out. This annoyed the director, who then sent me a very nasty email. As for the Canofix canopy itself, it was a nightmare to install. You need a perfectly flat wall, or the brackets will not line up. I would recommend getting a car port type canopy instead, they're far easy to install. Avoid this company at all costs!

Having installed one canopy from Canofix, with great results, we decided to buy 2 more. A 2.5m x 1m canopy over the front door of our studio was straight forward to fit and provides excellent shelter.
We shelved plans for a timber porch, in favour of another Canofix canopy over the tall and wide front door of the main house. A qualified carpenter installed the 2.5m x 1.5m canopy, using a timber back-plate, as the fixing was to stone. The end result is a triumph! The colour blends perfectly with the Dulux Concrete Grey woodwork; the structure looks robust and stylish and provides almost as much protection from the elements as our planned timber porch, but at less than a third of the price, including labour.
Canofix represents excellent value for quality products; the service is responsive and delivery was reliably achieved within 5 days for all three of the canopies we’ve purchased.
As with my previous review of Canofix, I thoroughly recommend this company.
