Worsed service with Cap Hpi! Holding false data on my car that cost £33,000 from mercedes dealership! 6 weeks on still no update! As im looking to sell the car it has dropped in value and now cant sell car as there false data they are holding, and absolute useless service! Half the time seems like im talking to somebody in India!
AVOID !! This company provided a totally inaccurate HPI report, with numerous inaccuracies throughout. How can they be allowed to get away with providing such outright mis-leading information. This has caused serious repercussions for all parties concerned and a loss of an agreed sale relating to an expensive vehicle.
Avoid at any cost !!!
Unsolicited emails received in the last month.
I have never heard about this company nor have I contacted them.
Are they scammers ??
Why are they offering £100 to reply to their email ??
Stay clear.
We tried for months now to cancel the contract and they not only would not acknowledge the cancellation, but plain out refuse to get in touch or stop the billing. When I finally called, they said that they would be happy to provide the signed contract where it states that this is a 12 month rolling contract, however this has been two weeks ago and I still have not received anything. Their complaints process says I should have received something after 24 hours, 5 days and then a resolution within 6 weeks if it's a tough case, I have had not one email after the generic "we received your query" email. We would like the complaint to be logged, and dealt with, and as a gesture of goodwill all payments to be returned.
BE WARNED !!! they lie about the data on your car, preventing any sale, then try and charge you to 'amend' the data, extortion is their business, avoid at all costs.
Inaccurate data coupled with non-existent customer service - they simply pass the buck for correcting their mistake to other irrelevant organisations, and their mistake is never corrected.
