CAPE LAW: JUSTICE IS NOT SERVED
Had the most disappointing experience with Andrea from Cape Law Justice. She promised one thing. Asked for more money. Yet, did the opposite.
I had zero chance of recovering any funds from a greedy landlord.
Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND this place.

Cancelling membership
The attorney I spoke with was extremely uncaring and rigid, to say the least. It felt like she wasn’t interested in providing genuine legal advice or being on my side—more like she just wanted to rush me off the phone. On top of that, Cape Law doesn’t even offer official representation. I’ll be canceling my monthly subscription and sticking with LegalShield, which has been much more helpful for me.

Useless Meeting
o The lawyer was not able to provide any useful advice. He recommended that I connect with an Illinois attorney because he does not know about employee benefits rights. I am quite disappointed that I provided the context of my issue two days before that call, and yet, the lawyer assigned to my case stated, “full disclosure, this isn’t my area of expertise.” The disappointment is reasonable since the content I provided should have presented me with an attorney competent in the specifics I shared.

my one star review is for the attorney Ernestas P and not CapeLaw, We spent the 1st 2 minutes on how to say and spell his name right? like really? this guy would ask me questions literally rush me through the consultation, not once did he ask if i would be interested in adding more time, and almost immediately stated that he would refer me to another attorney, today i sent all of my communications, he tells me that my landlord offered me adequate settlement. When in fact what they offered was not even 2% of what i spent, when they gave me an apartment knowing that was a problem. CapeLaw, you're a great service, this guy just isn't

That 20 min call was a waste of time…
That 20 min call was a waste of time and added stress.
Lets be clear their Lawyers will help you break you lease and that is all I got from that call. I did that on my own.
Instead of giving me other options or hope she told me how it would be hard to do this or that. I have settled out of court on things that are considered hard. I have even given advice from Lawyers and ended up doing my own research and winning.
Lastly - she didn't read anything I signed to tell me what I could or could not do. SAVE YOUR MONEY.
There are better sites like JustAnswer and Howly.
