Capital Security Bank Reviews 

I've been a customer for several years:

Pros:
1) they are relatively smooth to open account. They ask for a lot of documentation, but it's not a total Spanish Inquisition like some other offshore banks. You can get through it eventually.
2) they are legit, in business for many years.
3) money is relatively safe.
4) Staff are kind-hearted locals. On the phone, very nice manner.

Cons:
1) Slow transfers
2) They are declining in terms of transparency. It used to be they published audited Bank financials online. Then they made this ex-Rugby player CEO and haven't published their financials for years. So a bit of a black box these days. This Rugby guy is also big on branding which makes me nervous. I don't want branding I just want to know my _______ money is safe.
3) Account minimums are way up. Used to be 10k or 50k to open. Now it's 250k.
4) Their relationships with their intermediary banks is always tenuous. Could be cancelled anytime, so your money could be stuck in bank a while. Doesn't mean you'll lose money, just means stuck for a while.

Great private bank with super friendly staff.

I have banked with them for a short period of time due to some regulatory changes on the jurisdiction of my company, nevertheless they have always been very helpful and friendly during all of my relationship.

They are a good private bank with good correspondent relationships and their fees are below average.

I've been trying to access my accounts for three weeks. A US international attorney warned me not to have money there because they delay, delay, delay and your heirs will never get their money from your Trust.
Without my permission or knowledge they changed my password so I can't access my accounts and won't reset them. This is criminal

Have been waiting for months for a transfer of funds from Capital Security bank to Switzerland. Still not done.

Responsive and attentive. I had to focus on a different project and was unavailable for a couple of months. Once i re-initiated contact the CSB team was on the ball, answering all my questions, even the ones already asked and we completed my request in a timely manner.

The speed of transfer process (inward and outward) is slow. It takes 5-7 (!) days that funds are credited or debited your account. I'd appreciate if you improve this part of service. The rest is ok. Thank you for the banking service.

Can't access trader. Have requested assistance from CSB but nothing. This is not acceptable.

I received quick responses to my questions by email for placing an order to purchase gold coins for my account. Execution was very fast and I quickly received confirmation. Great job!

I am not getting any service from you. Just polite responses from the customer support chatbot.
But I've send you document a week ago, and got no sign from the bank. Am not used to a bank not getting back to me.
