Scrapping a car is a bit of a minefield, so I was waiting for the catch when they gave me easily the best quote. But no- an unexpectedly smooth and problem free process, collection driver was friendly and let me know he was on his way, all very good!

I had a very disappointing experience.

After sharing full details about my vehicle, I received an initial valuation. This was later reduced once I submitted additional requested information, including photographs. Despite no new negative details being introduced, I accepted the revised offer and proceeded to book collection. However, the price was reduced again afterwards, without any change in the information provided.

What I found particularly concerning was the implication that the condition of the vehicle had not been accurately represented. This made me feel as though I was being treated as dishonest, which was both unfair and frustrating, given that I had been transparent throughout and had provided all requested information in good faith.

When I attempted to clarify the situation over the phone, the call was ended while I was still speaking, which came across as abrupt and unprofessional. The subsequent communication did not address my concerns satisfactorily.

While I understand that valuations can be reviewed, there should be clear reasoning, consistency, and respectful communication. Unfortunately, this experience did not reflect that.

Overall, the process felt unreliable and not very trustworthy, and I would not recommend this company.

Great service and quick

I got a phone call letting me know how long the driver would be who was collecting my car.
My car was loaded onto the truck and everything was explained to me about the paperwork all being done electronically.
He sent his messages over to the company and by the time he had explained everything to me.
The payment was in my account.
I would recommend this company to anybody.
The collector was very polite and well mannered.which made it a lot easier for me.thankyou.

Very smooth transfer - checked and photographed ID, compared to verified address and loaded car onto truck. Took less than 10 minutes. Excellent service.

Really can't fault. Collected car and loaded by Lee. It was a struggle as it had been stood for years but Lee knew what he was doing. Agreed price reduced slightly due to battery missing (I wasn't aware of that it was) but absolutely fine as made aware when price agreed that this would be the case. Strongly recommend Car.co.uk.

Fully online, email alerts to keep me updated, quick payment as agreed, would recommend. Probably 5 stars but giving 4 since there was no call from the driver until 12pm on a 8am-1pm slot and I had to call to car.co.uk to chase for an update.

The service was very fast, and efficient and driver who collected the car, was very pleasant.
They transfer the money to my account on the spot.
