Hi all.do all compass Camino 550s fall apart. mine has from new in 2017. The best thing I did was to sell it. On the day I sold it. It still had a leak from the rear top light. Should have named it Compass colander.

Do all compass caravans fall to bits, i have been caravaning for over 40 years, had a new compass camino 550 in 2017, from then each year it has had some think fall off, or crack,

What a wonderful company. Complete novice about caravanning but went to see some caravans. From the moment we arrived we were given expert attention by Christian the salesman who helped with detailed information on each van and lots of advice - he even gave us coffee!. He could not have been more helpful. I was able to discuss the relative merits of each van in relation to my needs. He was attentive, extremely helpful but at no point put undue pressure on me to buy. Like so many I wanted to think it over overnight and was offered the opportunity to pay a £100 refundable deposit to hold it for 48 hours, which I accepted. It is refreshing in this day and age to find a company with such high standards of customer service and integrity and I cannot recommend them highly enough.
Christian is a credit to the company.

Our experience with Caravans UK started back in February in the midst of lockdown. They were advertising a caravan that met most of the criteria we were looking for. Our initial enquiry was responded to in minutes and we were sent a link to a video tour. This was a clear and informative tour showing us good and bad aspects of the van. We were able to arrange a video call with Paul, who spent a good hour going round the van with us answering our myriad questions. We duly put down a reservation deposit which was refundable , until we were able to go and see the van in person. We finally got to see the van in April, and we picked up a few issues and when we raised this with Dave, they all went on the sales sheet to be addressed. Scroll forward to us collecting the van in June (our choice due to circumstances). All the issues listed were fixed and the van was lovely and clean. Handover day came and Liam was great walking us round the van, not rushed. This is our first caravan purchase and we are so pleased that we found Caravans UK. The whole team our focussed on getting the customer the right experience, they are not just after the money alone. A great job and we cannot recommend this company highly enough.

Non pressure sales and inspection instructive handover a satisfying experience

Having visited a couple of other local 2nd hand caravan places, we were really impressed with CaravansUK and the service they offered. So much so that we ended up buying our caravan from there in the end. A very professional service with lots of help, both in the days leading up to the sale and after we had bought it. Would recommend to others for sure.

All the staff were very helpful and friendly at Caravans UK. We are pleased with our caravan and would recommend them and would be happy to use them again.

We had a particular model we were looking for and had viewed various others at different places, both traders and private.

We bought a really nice caravan in great condition after looking at one here, and the cost was very comparable to private sellers. Would definitely recommend.

Bought our 1st ever caravan from Caravans UK only 12 months earlier, so hedged our bets with an older model. Had a positive experience both with Caravans UK and, despite lockdown, with caravanning in general so we decided to go back to them and upgrade to a newer van.
The stock is mainly pitched mid market - neither brand new nor 4th hand models - but a good selection of used caravans, well maintained, all of which appears fairly priced compared to other outlets.
For us what appeals is the friendly service. No ‘cowboys’ attitude here. They allowed us to check out the vans that interested us without any interference, but made it understood just to ask if necessary. Whatever we did need to know, we found the handful of staff were all knowledgeable, sincere and genuine.
Having agreed a purchase (twice now), they provided a bespoke video via email showing everything there is to know about that specific van (control panels, gas, heating etc). This is enormously helpful and it’s value should not be under estimated.
In addition to the Pre-sale inspection and warranty checks you would expect, they also make an effort to ensure the actual handover / pickup of the van is a special occasion for the buyer. A nice touch.
When it’s time to service or indeed change the van in the future (hopefully longer than 12 months..!) we will return here. Very happy.
Oh and it’s handily located too, just off the A1. 👍

We have just bought our first caravan. The help, advice and service we received was excellent. We were unable to collect the caravan on the allotted day as we couldn't get the tow bar fitted in time and Caravans uk kindly kept the caravan for us. They helped us attach it to the tow bar and get us on our way. I would highly recommend the company.

Sale process was fine as was the handover.

Had a problem with the submersible pump that was supplied with the caravan. Contacted Caravans UK who said I should use the old one that we also in the caravan at hand over. I pointed out this was both old and covered in algae. I also asked about a second key and as told to buy one off the internet (£2.25)

Poor after sales.

Very friendly staff with lots of knowledge and advice. Video sent of all the caravans important things know, which we can keep and look back at if we have any issues, this is really useful.
During handover of the van, all questions were answered and lots of good advice given, for a first time buyer i would recommend CaravansUK

Even in these challenging times everyone was very friendly and helpful social distancing was in place
