Carshipping Express Inc is a predatory remote broker legally operating out of Halifax, Nova Scotia, that uses fake domestic addresses to trap U.S. customers.Their operation relies on a systematic "bait-and-switch" pricing model:They hook you with a low-ball initial price quote to secure your credit card deposit.Right before pickup, they hit you with a massive price hike—in my case, demanding an extra $600 for a local move.They try to lock this in by sending a completely new, revised contract, banking on the fact that you will be desperate enough to sign it.IF THEY DID THIS TO YOU, DO NOT SIGN THAT NEW CONTRACT!Because you did not sign or accept the revised document, they have zero legal leverage. I expect to hear from them regarding my recent posts about their shady business practices. I will update later with what they had to say to me. And, come on....every positive review on here is written in broken English.....what does that tell you? And they all sound nothing like what real customers would write even if it was a positive review.

Very poor communication and customer service. I booked Carshipping Express to transport my vehicle for $600 and paid a $200 reservation fee. On the estimated pickup date, they still had not assigned a carrier. Instead of notifying me in advance, they waited until that day to tell me and then quoted me approximately double the original price.
They continued trying to negotiate the price, but by that point, the price was no longer the main issue. The issue was that they knew they had not secured a carrier and failed to communicate that before the expected pickup date. I could simply drive the vehicle myself, but I should have been given advance notice.
When I decided to cancel, they told me the cancellation fee would be 100% of the full shipping quote. However, their contract states that when an order is canceled before a carrier is assigned, the charge is the $200 nonrefundable processing fee. The 100% cancellation charge applies only after a carrier has been assigned—and they had repeatedly confirmed that they had not found one.
The last-minute price increase, poor communication, and attempt to charge more than what their own cancellation terms state made this a very frustrating experience. I would not recommend this company.

My experience with CarShipping Express was one of the most frustrating and disappointing customer service experiences I've ever had.

I was initially quoted $200 for transport, with a $100 deposit required to secure my pickup date. We agreed on the price, we agreed on the pickup date, and I made plans based on the promises I was given.

Then, on the day of pickup, everything changed.

I received a call informing me that the truck that was supposedly going to transport my vehicle had "broken down." Suddenly, the original agreement was no longer available. Instead, I was told that the only option was a different transporter that would cost $750, along with a $300 deposit.

The alternative? I could wait while they tried to find a less expensive transporter at some unknown future date.

The problem was that they knew I couldn't wait. I had made arrangements based on the pickup date they committed to. They knew the vehicle had to move on that date, and at that point I felt completely trapped and backed into a corner.

What makes this situation feel like a bait-and-switch to me is what happened with the deposits. Even though I had supposedly reserved transport with a $100 deposit, they never actually charged my card for that original deposit. Yet when the price suddenly jumped from $200 to $750, they were incredibly quick to process the new $300 deposit.

That sequence of events raises serious concerns. If the original transport was truly secured, why wasn't the original deposit ever collected? Why did the only charge that went through immediately happen to be tied to a transport costing nearly four times more than what was originally promised?

Whether you call it poor planning, incompetence, or something else, the result is the same: I was quoted one price, counted on that price, and then pressured into paying significantly more when I had no practical alternatives.

If you're considering using CarShipping Express, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. There are plenty of reputable transport companies that honor their commitments and communicate honestly with their customers.

Based on my experience, I would never use CarShipping Express again, and I would caution anyone considering them to proceed very carefully. When a company changes the terms at the last minute after you've already made your arrangements, it creates a situation where the customer has little choice but to pay more or risk major disruption to their plans.

My advice: Avoid this company and choose a transporter with a proven reputation for honoring its quotes and commitments.

After being delayed for a week the original driver cancelled my load I reached out to get a refund they said I had to pay $1000 to cancel I will say this one time AVOID this company like the plague. If there is any solution I will update this review I was using the broker nick gardener AVOID using this company typical bait and switch and they refused the refund as well.

Scam I just got scammed from this people they promised to pick up my car since yesterday no one showed up and now they want $2500 more in top of my $250 the i pay us a deposit do not do business with this people they are scams 100% dont get rid of like me

Title: Management Reached Out After a Very Unprofessional Experience

I am updating my original review to provide a fair and complete account of what happened.

My initial experience with a representative named Brad was extremely disappointing. I contacted him professionally with concerns regarding my vehicle shipment and a possible Central Dispatch listing. During that conversation, Brad responded with comments including “Are you dumb?”, told me to stop wasting his time, and later sent “Womp womp.” I have retained the messages documenting that interaction.

Regarding my concern about my vehicle potentially being posted on Central Dispatch without my authorization, Car Shipping Express management has since stated to me in writing that Brad did not post my vehicle. I have not independently obtained evidence establishing that Car Shipping Express was responsible for the listing, so I do not want to present that allegation as a confirmed fact.

After my original review was posted, management contacted me multiple times. They apologized for Brad's behavior, told me they were questioning him regarding the incident, and stated that they would take the matter seriously. I appreciate management acknowledging that the way I was spoken to was inappropriate.

They have asked me several times to remove my review. I have decided instead to update it so that it accurately reflects both my original experience and management's subsequent response.

I believe consumers should know how a company handles problems as well as how those problems begin. My interaction with Brad was unacceptable, but I also believe it is fair to acknowledge that management reached out, apologized, and told me they were addressing the situation internally.

I am leaving this review as an accurate account of my experience and will update it again if there are any meaningful developments.

I’m working with them for my sedans shipment from dealership every week and I appreciate the work over all and last time I shipped my RV as well around $2000, what I can really stars them for there service and communication skills on time update or professionalism with ronnie.

Experience was good with all services and I understand there is couples of negativity comments here as well but at the end they’re very legal and helpful compare to other competitors and my experience was very good with nick gardner genuinely saying.

Trust the reviews. These guys are scam artists. Quote and pd for shipping. Pick up missed, then they tried to get another $1200 out of my to have the car picked up. Then when I tried to get a refund, it was a nightmare. Had to threaten legal action after dealing with 3 different India speaking folks. The billing lady started screaming at me and kept cutting me off. Don't use this place if you value your time and sanity.

I spoken with rep named Sophie. She gave me a great quote, but at the end of the day Horrible. I do not recommend.LIES LIES LIES. Save yourself the Headache. All of sudden they have issues with Drivers. Booked months in advance. Totally rip off. Beware!
