Installation of underground water supply
Following notification by water board that we had a water leak somewhere underground on our property, our insurance company appointed Catalyst services, who were very prompt and efficient in carrying out repairs, this required digging up our block paving drive, after repairs everything was left neat and tidy with no evidence of any disruption

Paperwork took longer than the job. Disappointed that a firm of jet washers travelled fifty miles to do job but the men were efficient, helpful and pleasant.

My gutters were overflowing due to blocked drain. Cleared part of the drain.
Left mud stones from the blocked drain. If they'd not put the drain cover on the wrong way I'd have not seen. Contacted emergency cover again to advise mess in the drain not cleared and next down pour would wash the mud etc back along drain and block again. Poor response to this and my reply wasn't answered. Took me an hour to wash the mess away bit by bit. Next rain storm (2 days later) drain was still blocked where down pipe goes into drain with plastic something mud mess from roof. Once grill in drain removed was obvious to me so this should have been cleared too I had to clear in rain storm as the burst down pipes poured water over me as I struggled with my fingers up the drain pipe eventually was loosened enough and with a woush was cleared with mud and mess all over me. This should have been done by drain men as well as clearing mess from man hole. I won't be renewing my cover with this insurer very poor drain clearing by men. Poor response from insurer and then no response v Poor don't use this insurance company ! Or the emergency cover.

Excellent service and communication from Catalyst, following their instruction by our Insurer to investigate / rectify water main (service line) leak.
They were very quick to make contact, and arrange attendance by contractor, keeping us updated throughout. It was also comforting and reassuring to have an appointed claims handler (Daniel Turnbull), thus making it unnecessary to have to speak to different people. Dan was on the ball throughout!

Blocked drain - Prompt & Efficient service
Had to call my insurance Co this morning who gave CaraystserviceUK my details for a blocked drain. Got a call as promised within hours today and two guys arrived by 1pm. Rodded and cleared the drains and checked all facilities working before leaving everything as was. Many thanks for prompt, efficient and courteous service. Would definitely recommend.

Great job main drain from the house was blocked. I had plunged it and rodded it from the man hole but could not shift it. Less than 24hrs from my phone call the team was out. They water blasted the lenght of the whole drain clearing years of built up debris. Great job in under 40 minutes.

Reactive rather than proactive in dealing.
If you are put in touch with them through an insurance call out for a boiler fault, the claims company should give you the chance to source your own and then invoice them back ( take this option unless you’re desperate). The first contact from them after the insurance referral is pretty rapid. They seem to have geographical challenges getting to anyone outside their base of Lancashire. I was told I would have a visit on Tuesday mid morning, had to chase up on day, was told and hour, then a call from Engineer who said it would be 1pm. No call, chased again at 2pm and the van broke down. They couldn’t get me a visit sorted so had to opt for Wednesday, first appointment of day agreed. Rocked up mid morning.the didn’t get a referral back to the claims company for over 24hrs and this was probably because I had to chase up again, It appears on the face they don’t have the resource to handle being a sub contractor. So if you’re vulnerable and dependent on heat and hot water, explore a different option.
1 star for initial fast contact and reasonable hold time on phone.
