Well structured training plan balancing improvements in technique as well as building speed and stamina. Tailored for my needs and adjusted during the course based on feedback. Got me feom 2km to 10km in 9 weeks!
It's been a decade since I last swam seriously. I wanted to get my skills and confidence back to put swimming back into my regular workout routine. I was honestly surprised with how quickly the catch program (the workouts, the technique tips) got me back into enjoying swimming again. This program is best for people who prefer self-serve workouts, with expert technique explanations you can try out on your own. I'm continuing with the program past my initial subscription because it's also nice to simply be told what workout to do every week!

Catch is simply brilliant. A fantastic way to improve swimming technique. I saw a lot of improvement on my front crawl on their 5 month openwater course; the training plans were easy to follow and built up in manageable stages, new techniques are communicated clearly in videos, and support is available if you need to tweak anything. I absolutely recommend Catch, both as a training programme and a swim community.

Catch has made me genuinely enjoy swimming for the first time in my life!
The process of learning and honing a new skill within my swim technique week on week has been super fun and engaging. I often felt like I lacked any direction when I swam and Catch has really given me the motivation to learn and successfully develop. I am pleased to have improved my swim times but more than anything I am happy that I feel efficient with my front crawl. The programme has given me motivation to swim more in open water and swim longer distances for pleasure.

Starting Catch has been transformational for my swimming. As an adult, I've always struggled to structure my swim sessions and know what to aim for when improving my technique. Catch has made my swimming sessions constructive again, by providing customised training sessions each week, and providing all the information and guidance I need to work on my technique. I actually feel like I'm improving my swimming now, rather than chugging endlessly up and down the pool with little idea of what I was doing! I'd really recommend joining Catch if you're looking for a swimming training plan. I also attended the Bristol swim and brunch put on by the Catch founders, which was great - nice to swim as part of a community, and we had half the pool to ourselves!

Catch is a great training programme that is totally personalised to me, yet follows structured programmes designed by ex professional athletes. I got started with an online quiz which was then followed up with a video call to understand my goals and current abilities. Over the first month my plans were tweaked as I gave feedback each week before settling into a longer programme. My 1km speed went from 19mins down to under 16mins within 8 weeks which I couldn't believe. The drill cards and technique session completely changed the way I swim making me more efficient. I can chat with the coaches online, pause the course when life gets in the way the carry on in my own time. Love it! Great job on setting this up!
