CBT West London - Motorcycle Training Reviews 

Couldn’t have chosen a better place to do my CBT after 10 years of urming and urring. Paul was absolutely amazing. He coached and taught us in a way that kept building our confidence on the bike and on road safety. He was super honest about improvement areas and coached us on how to improve. He was so patient and ensured we understood all aspects of what it means to ride but most importantly he made it fun!

Once we got out onto the road, I felt a little bit nervous (not because of lack of preparedness) but Paul gave us time to adjust and then allowed us to be independent which was absolutely amazing.

I definitely will be back to do my gear conversion, MOD 1 & MOD 2. Thanks so much Paul!

What a blast! One of the best days in my life. Really enjoyed it and big thanks to Paul - an absolute star. There were four of us on the day (CBT), obviously different set of skills but Paul was very patient, calm and approached each of us individually. He picked up even smallest mistakes and helped us reflect on what could have been done better. Very progressive way of coaching, clearly very experienced biker and a natural born coach. When Paul said "common guys it's a 40mph limit - speed up" I felt that wind pressing against my jacket, felt it on my face and it put a big grin on my face. If it wasn't for a full face helmet I would have lots of insects in my teeth from smiling so much, it was only 40mph but I felt on top of the world. Thank you Paul!

Riaz was very patient and was an overall excellent instructor, will definitely be returning for my full test!

I did my CBT with Riaz, a great guy and really knows his stuff. The day was a lot of fun from start to finish

Claudiu was my Mod 1&2 instructor. A lovely man, friendly, funny and highly professional (he also makes great coffee!). He was patient and encouraging. When I got something wrong, he would work with me until I got it! I’m late to biking, in my late 50’s, but Claudiu gave me the confidence and competence to pass.

Judit helped me through my Mod1 second attempt as I forgot my licence the first time (rookie error for an old boy like me!). She was lovely and reassured me on the day, her knowledge and advice got me through it. I didn’t train with Paul, but met him on numerous occasions. Again, a lovely chap. Happy, enthusiastic and full of praise when I passed.

Someone at CBT West London has totally nailed the recruitment policy!

I’m forever grateful to the team and have no hesitation to recommend this company to any aspiring bikers. Every day was a joy, I almost wish I could do it all over again!

Claudiu, is an excellent instructor, he gives clear advice and training. I would recommend CBT West London to anyone looking at taking a bike licence at any level.

I had the most fantastic training day. Paul is an exceptionally friendly, professional, and knowledgeable instructor. In just one day, I learned an incredible amount. Thank you so much Paul!!

Highly professional instructor, very knowledgeable and supportive. Very well maintained equipment, great location with plenty of space and facilities. Could not have asked for more.

Riaz was my instructor on the day and he is a seasoned biker and this shined through everything he did during the day. I was very happy to be able to train with a real biker with tons of experience gained on the road and many years of experience as a certified instructor.

Not everything was smooth sailing for me though as I needed some time to get used to a completely new activity but Riaz seemed to have a sixth sense when it came to spotting the errors, the struggles and the needs I had while on the bike.

At the point of booking I had asked for a geared motorcycle and on the day I was assigned a wonderfully balanced Yamaha YBR 125cc which was in perfect shape. I am 5'11" (180cm) tall and weight about 16 stones (100 kg) and I could easily put both feet on the ground when stationary and the bike was light yet powerful and easy to control.

The location was great, plenty of open space to practice before going out in traffic towards the end of the training day.

What I can say with certainty is that this was not just a formality but an intense eight hours training day, filled with theory and practice but the effort was indeed worth it.

Aside from Riaz, I had met Judith in the morning during the initial training zone setup and Claudiu in the afternoon for the wrapping up, and although they haven't been directly involved in the actual training I can say with certainty that both were very friendly, welcoming and ready to give advice if asked.

Overall, I had a very positive experience with CBT West London and I highly recommend Riaz to all interested students. I will be back for the DAS full licence soon. For now, it is time for me to go searching for that bike I was dreaming about for so long!

The welcome, the instructor put us a ease they explained how the day would pan out. Described what modules we would be doing took us through the them explained them to us asked us questions throughout.
then came the good part taking us out on the road all fitted with ear pieces so could here the instructors instructions. Great experience highly recommend it.

I was very nervous coming into it. Being 16 the idea of a cbt was very daunting but my instructor riaz was amazing. He would help me correct every mistake and would give me praise when I did things right.

Brilliant day, Paul made it interesting and fun, well worth doing! Thanks again!

Did my 125cc CBT yesterday . Arrived little anxious, within 5 minutes it turned into excitement. The course is straight forward, everything is well explained, Riaz made it a good experience. Thank you!

I always wanted to ride on a big bike but never thought I’ll be able to do that. Claudiu gave his best to teach me with all his patience (even he put his trust in me when I just wanted to give up and forget about it) how to achieve my dream to come true! He is an amazing instructor and I would give more stars to CBT West London than 5 if I could! Highly recommended to everyone!
