Ccostadriving Reviews

My driving instructor Carlos was absolutely amazing-always on time, well organised and genuinely willing to go the extra mile to make sure you drive safely and legally.
He got me through my test first try. Truly grateful and would recommend him to anyone learning to drive.

I knew that Carlos was a top-tier instructor when he told me what I didn't want to hear in our first conversation.

I live in Cambridge but could only get a test booking in Bury St Edmunds, so I was hoping to do most prep near my home and then a couple of lessons near BSE to learn the area. Out of the 20+ driving schools that I contacted, Carlos was the only one who took the time to call me, learn more about what I needed, and explain why it would actually be best to do all of our prep in Bury. There's a strong chance I wouldn't have passed my test if not for that conversation.

That personalisation of course extends to the actual driving instruction - it was very clear that Carlos is invested in figuring out how each student learns & being able to adapt his approach. This matters when an instructor has limited time to not just prepare students to pass the test, but hopefully teach them to be road-safe drivers for life (which we need more of!)

Finally, the process of booking & confirming lessons, and overall communication, was very professional and consistent, which isn't a given among driving schools. I don't fault driving schools that aren't ace at managing learner schedules and communications, as it's a lot - but having Carlos be on top of this as well gave me extra confidence that I was in good hands.

Happy driving!

I recommend Carlos to anyone learning to drive automatic, he’s so lovely and understanding as much as I’m happy I’ve passed, i’m sad to be leaving our lessons as they were always filled with laughter and chatting, and never any silence.

The best driving instructor ever! He has been so patient and encouraging throughout my entire learning journey! I passed first time with just one minor thanks to Carlos, as he has taught me everything so well!

I passed my driving test with Carlos! I’m an extremely nervous person and driver and he never gave up on me and always encouraged me not to quit! Thanks Carlos!

I really enjoyed learning to drive with Carlos. He explained things very clearly and made them easy to remember with fun songs or phrases. I feel very confident with driving because of him no matter what road conditions or traffic there is. I would really recommend him to anyone hoping to learn how to drive as I think he helps take away a lot of the stress of learning and being on the roads. Thanks to his teaching I managed to pass my test with only 3 minors and I feel very comfortable driving alone even on busy roads because of everything he’s taught.

I had a great experience learning to drive with Carlos. He is extremely good at what he does and makes the lesson clear, structured, and productive. Carlos is very patient and supportive, which really helped build my confidence behind the wheel.
One of the things I appreciated most was how motivating he is. He always encourages me and gives helpful feedback that makes it easy to improve. Even when I made mistakes, he explained things calmly and made sure I understood how to correct them.
Thanks to his guidance and teaching style, I was able to develop safe driving I’m very happy to say that I just passed my driving test with him! ( 0 faults )
I would highly recommend Carlos to anyone looking for a professional, patient, and motivating driving instructor.
