Premium price, poor quality and poor after-sales support - not recommended

I ordered an Ula Micro outdoor sauna (flat-pack, assembled by my own professional installers) in December 2025 for EUR 7,395.53, including a EUR 780 upgrade to the larger Huum Drop 4.5 kW heater.

My experience:

- Ordered and paid components (outdoor RGB LED and Therapy Pulse LED) were delivered in October 2026, more than nine months after payment.
- The Huum controller failed twice. Celsium attributed this to my electrical installation, which was carried out by a licensed electrician.
- The tinted glass front arrived with silicone residue. Instead of fixing it, I was sent cleaning instructions.
- Heating takes much longer than I expected: at 13 °C outside, the sauna needed 110 minutes to reach 90 °C.

When I asked Celsium three times for their heat-up specification for this cabin and heater combination, I did not receive one.

My emails in July and August went unanswered for weeks. After I asked for compensation, Celsium declared the matter "closed".

In my opinion, the quality of the product and the service is far below what a premium price justifies. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company at all.

We spent several months researching outdoor saunas before choosing Celsium, looking at more than 30 different suppliers in the UK and Europe.

We had a fairly particular brief and asked an embarrassing number of questions along the way, so this was definitely not an impulse purchase.

What ultimately set Celsium apart was the quality of the design and specification and their willingness to adapt their product rather than simply tell us what we could buy.

We loved the Jonas Grand sauna but also wanted a substantial covered area alongside it for an ice bath and shower. Celsium worked with us to combine the two ideas into a bespoke design and were remarkably patient as we refined the details.

We changed bench dimensions and heights, specified different interior finishes and lighting, changed the heater, altered elements of the canopy and worked through numerous other details. Nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble.

The finished sauna really does feel like something designed specifically for us.

Most importantly, the finished product is superb. The quality of the black exterior, thermo-aspen interior, glazing and joinery is excellent, and the sauna looks even better in reality than we had hoped. The combination of the sauna, covered ice-bath area and shower has turned what started as a search for a garden sauna into a proper little outdoor wellness area.

There were inevitably a few bumps during a bespoke project of this nature, but what mattered to us was how Celsium dealt with them. Celsium remained responsive and determined to get everything right, both during the design process and through installation.

Having spent far too much time researching the market, we're very, very pleased we chose Celsium. Excellent quality, genuinely flexible and bespoke, and a company that clearly cares passionately about the finished result.

I had quite specific requirements for my sauna: I wanted an all-black exterior with wooden sides, and crucially, I didn't want a glass front—just a glass door. Those two criteria alone meant that most providers couldn't help me.
Fortunately, CELSIUM’s online customisation tool made the process completely seamless. Being able to easily select my exact specifications and choose the exact heater I wanted right on their website made the ordering experience fantastic.
On top of the great software, the customer service and communication were brilliant. I was emailing back and forth to clarify a few details, and the team was always super responsive and helpful.
They also went above and beyond regarding delivery. I realised I needed to delay the shipment so I could have the right equipment ready to receive it, as I had ordered it pre-fabricated. Even though it had already shipped, CELSIUM coordinated with the courier service to delay it by three days and kept me informed the whole time. That saved a massive headache and kept the sauna safe.
Speaking of the pre-fabricated build: while I’m quite handy and originally planned to assemble it myself as a project, I am so glad it arrived fully built in retrospect! It meant I could skip construction and immediately start using it every day, which I have been doing. It gets up to temperature brilliantly, it’s exceptionally comfortable, and the final spec is spot on.
