Nonsense
To be fair, the prices just made it all seem iffy.
I searched companies house and they were not on there.
The contact email address didn't look right as most would say .co.uk at the end.
No address available is always an alarm to me.
The website and ads should be taken down before more people actually get ripped off
Scam!
Scam! Avoid this website!
The photos are AI, the story is fake! They are ripping off another company called C'est la Vie which is run by a husband and wife.
Scam .. avoid at all costs
Received my items this morning after a long wait . This company is clearly not based in Birmingham UK , they use a Chinese postal system. Items are not gold or silver as stated, just cheap and tacky. Clearly a scam… avoid.
ABSOLUTE SCAM
ABSOLUTE SCAM.
Photos are AI.
STORY IS FAKE.
DO NOT BUY
Hi I have ordered a necklace set from…
Hi I have ordered a necklace set from this company which said there is a closing down sale and massive reduction.soon I paid for my order about £100, they send me confirmation email about order but later they said there will be some delay due to some manufacture error in metal piece. It clicked to me and I have checked on trust pilot and said its scam.please don't order anything from here.
It’s fake avoid
It’s fake avoid! The items have came and they are on Temu for 99% cheaper.
I wish I had checked Trustpilot before…
I wish I had checked Trustpilot before purchasing from this scam of a company. They said there was a closing down sale and there was a photo of a lady supposedly making these colourful lamps so I thought the items looked nice and ordered a cat lamp and a ring. The first red flag was when I got a delivery update stating the items were now being checked after arriving internationally. Surely the company is based in Birmingham?!!
When the parcel arrived the label had Chinese writing on. Second red flag. Upon opening, the “silver “ ring which looked really nice on the photo was cheap metal like something out of a Christmas cracker and not worth what I had paid. The lamp was not a cat but a tiny blue dog. Im gutted I fell for it and am going to be more careful from now on.
Damn, bought the cheap earrings
Damn! Ordered two sets of what I thought would be 9ct gold earrings (as it said on their website) and once arrived could tell they were made from cheap metal that would hurt my ears. I got them at the supposedly discounted rate (originally over £100 each pair, there's the catch believing them to be real gold). I immediately sent an email to their address shown on the confirmation of purchase email to ask to please can I get a refund and return the earrings, to be told in response by "Eileen" that the business has closed and there might be issues with the returns. A 10% discount was offered which I accepted. I then listed both pairs of earrings on ebay (making sure they were listed as gold metal and describing them as such and that I've never worn them as they're not real gold). I know I won't get all the money back that I paid but something for them is better than nothing. Note to self: Only buy jewellery from a shop to see the products in front of me!
Scam!
Fell for the closing down sale sob story through an ad on Instagram. There were what looked to be hundreds of reviews from happy customer so I didn't think anything negative and spent £34.95 on what's advertised as being a gorgeous ring.
The emails following the confirmation looked genuine and appeared to come from Eileen, the supposed owner of the company. I was offered a 20% discount code which ended up being invalid.
I also received an email this morning about a possible quality issue that they are 'looking into' which is delaying my order being sent. The email gave a promo code for a £20 voucher which, when I tried it, only took £4.99 off the total cost of the other item I was looking at. I replied to the email and got a bounce back/undeliverable message.
Went to Trust pilot straight away to find I'm definitely not the only one! I requested to cancel the order and I'm now in contact with my card issuer and hoping to be able to get a refund.
SCAM! AVOID
SCAM!
I ordered after seeing a closing down sale with discounted items. I purchased two items, assuming they were based in Birmingham but when the items didn’t arrive for a month, I emailed and was told they’re arriving internationally. On arrival the items do not look like their pictures, are really cheap quality and look like toys or something you’d find in a Christmas cracker. They’re selling under a complete false pretence and this is clearly a scam.
Scam - contact your card issuer immediately
Fell for an ad on Instagram - wish I have checked here before I ordered. Contacted the card issuer and disputed the charge straight away. To increase your chance of getting the money back, also send emails to the supplier requesting cancellation asap. They will never get back to you, as expected. They will still ship the goods to you regardless but ask the courier to refuse delivery on your behalf.
Do not order
Do not order. Items are rubbish - basically a scam business.
Scam! Beware of these fraudsters!
Saw the advert on facebook. There were thousands of positive comments of happy customers which misled me. I realised it was a scam when several weeks later the supposed handmade jewellery that was meant to come from Birmingham appeared to be poorly made trinkets from China. When I asked for return label - the return address was in China. And nobody replied to my emails since then. Scam! Big scam!
I fell for the sob story scam as well…
I fell for the sob story scam as well and after reading these reviews I was hoping to be able to claim a refund but surprisingly I did receive the products after a month. However wish I hadn't as the quality isn't the best.
Scam
My partner bought an adjustable ring for me. It’s not worth £30 he paid for it it’s clearly not hand made. The ring is supposed to be silver and have a rose gold dog, however the dog is gold and it’s supposed to have writing on the inside but it doesn’t.
He emailed them and they did reply with tracking info etc. but items definitely weren’t hand made as claimed and came from China. The ring its self is wearable and is nice however, not worth the amount paid. I’m not sure how long the delivery was as this was a surprise for me.
It is a scam
It is a scam, do not order from this website ever.
I have seen the advert on Instagram and got scammed.
I fell for the scam like everyone else…
I fell for the scam like everyone else on here after the advert on Instagram!!
It took weeks for the items to arrive from China and were not what had been shown on the website.
Supposedly 18k gold necklace was definitely not as described as no hallmark and the earrings were so cheap looking there is no way I would ever wear them or even attempt to put them in my ear lobes!!
I sent an e mail to the company asking for a refund but surprise surprise no reply!!!
Luckily I paid for the items with my credit card so Mastercard are going to refund the money. I would therefore advise anyone else in the same position to do this as well.
Awful quality
It came up on my FB account claiming that a store in Birmingham was closing down so I ordered 3 items. The items came from China and especially the ring looks nothing like the picture. The quality is horrible and I can return them but I need to pay the postage for China. What a waste
Scam
I saw the ad on instagram. There were some jewellery massively reduced, and marketed as gold but I couldn’t find out if they were plated. First clue something was amiss was the email I sent bounced back so I had to contact them via the site as a discount code I’d been given didn’t work.
I placed an order but I still felt something wasn’t right, as they kept sending me more discount codes. I’ve been scammed before and the tracking information looked depressingly familiar. I then looked at the returns information and noticed the address was in China!
I immediately contacted card issuer who refunded me straightaway.
Scam
