Sapele not Mahogany but fine.
I bought a chess set box, which arrived promptly.
Was described as Mahogany, was in fact Sapele but looks fine and is well made so I'm perfectly happy with it.

My first ever ZAGREB Chess set from…
My first ever ZAGREB Chess set from Chessgammon is absolutely beautiful. I have waited many years to buy one and am so happy to have one. Zagreb is a style of Chess pieces whereby the Bishops are sans mouth (no mitre) and have opposite coloured crowns along with the King & Queen. I have always found the standard design of Bishop perverse in appearance and it has always distracted me from my studies. I can finally study passionately with sturdy, well balanced pieces. The Knights... are something else. SIMON JEPPS
