I needed a survey undertaken to establish reconstruction costs for my Grade II Listed cottage for insurance purposes. Tom was able to accomodate my request without any delay and communicated throughout. He undertook the survey arriving punctually. and I found him to be very professional, friendly, and informative. I received my report promptly just a few days after Tom's site visit.

In addition to the above, Tom also helped identify points of water ingress around lead work on slated roof and recommended appropriate solutions and contractors.

Clear communication with me and the selling agent - timely report with clear fact based guidance. Tom made himself available for further clarification, following which I engaged a specialist damp survey that identified c £30k in additional non budgeted renovation work. All of which resulted in a positive impact on price negotiation. I would definitely recommend having a survey and certainly engage Tom to carry it out.

We were having to travel some way so felt it would be better to get a professional opinion and save a long round trip.
We appreciated the feedback from the report and confirmed that we would proceed based on the findings of the report.

Tom was very helpful and discussed his findings with us after the survey. I have gone 4 instead of 5 as our report sugested we have the electric fire in the living room checked. On our return visit to the property we discovered it was a gas fire without service confirmation. This could have been missed, it was easliy resolved with our seller who had it serviced for us. Otherwise Toms report was thorough and informative.
