I started taking classes with Uriel about 1 year ago. Since starting, my level has improved from b1 to b2. Uriel makes classes engaging by mixing current events, fun conversation topics, and grammar or vocabulary. Taking classes is fun and you forgot about learning while you are doing it! Highly recommend classes with Uriel and the chidolingo team.

I chose improving my Spanish as a New Year's resolution for 2025 after more than two years without taking a formal class. My first 1-on-1 tutoring experience began on another platform with Uriel, who is encouraging, kind, and dedicated to his craft. Our classes together are appropriately challenging, and our conversations are always fun. My skills have significantly progressed since starting classes with Uriel, and it continues to be a joy to watch his growth as an entrepreneur and friend, too. I am more than happy to recommend ChidoLingo to anyone who is interested in learning Spanish.

I have been taking classes with Uriel and it has been a great experience. He is patient and has excellent teaching skills. The website has all the tools to continue your learning after the class. I would highly recommend if this you want to learn Spanish.

Uriel and the Chidolingo website have been game changers for me. I previously attended a language learning school and worked with a few other online teachers, but none came close to the progress I’ve made with Uriel. Unlike other tutors I’ve used, Uriel has a wealth of background material saved that he shares during classes. Whenever I ask a question, he has explanatory material at his fingertips. We walk through the concepts and then do exercises together to reinforce the content.

Additionally, he has an extensive "homework library." He assigns homework based on the concepts we discussed that day, and we review it during the next class. Furthermore, the website has a vocabulary section that is very easy to use and offers extensive options for personalization. The site recently added an AI interface for practicing real-life conversations. The AI bot corrects my errors, helps with pronunciation, and tests my knowledge; it has really helped me to "think on my feet" when speaking Spanish.

Between classes with Uriel and the Chidolingo website, I have all the tools I need to reach my goal of fluency. Lastly, Uriel is not only a great teacher but a genuinely nice guy. You can tell he was born to teach—he’s pleasant, patient, engaging, and has a great sense of humor. The classes are so engaging that the hour flies by before I even realize it I highly recommend booking a class to anyone trying to learn Spanish.

Uriel does a great job making the classes fun. Even though learning a language can be difficult, Uriel structures his class in such a way that you feel excited to go to the next lesson. I have used many Spanish tutor,s and Uriel is the only one that I stuck with.

These practice sessions along with my classes from Uriel are a great combination to learn by. I am truly enjoying learning Spanish...finally.

Uriel was our guide for our family trip to Mexico City for 3 days. Uriel was organized, knowledgeable, patient, and funny too! We visited Xochimilco, Teotihuacan, Coyoacan, and more during the 3 days. We had lots of opportunities to practice speaking Spanish. We all had a great time and hope to return again! Gracias Uriel!

My wife and I recently visited Mexico City and we took two different excursions with Uriel. One trip was to Teotihuacan and the other was to Xochimilco/Coyocan. This was her first visit to CDMX and these two days were highlights of our trip. Uriel went out of his way to ensure we had great experiences. He and I talked in Spanish and he talked with my wife in English. I highly recommend any of his excursions when visiting Mexico City.

Llevo unos meses tomando clases de español con Uriel. Sus clases son entretenidas e informativas. Durante las clases, él toma notas por ti para que sólo tengas que concentrarte en la clase. En los últimos meses, he visto mejoras en mi forma de hablar, especialmente respondiendo con más fluidez.
Lo que más me gusta de las clases es que aprendo a hablar como la gente habla español, no como te enseñan los libros de texto.

For about a month now, I have been attending biweekly meetings with Uriel in order to improve my Spanish. I came in already knowing the basics but I have been wanting to go beyond that for years. Thankfully I stumbled upon this language school which teaches real Mexican-rooted Spanish with a good mixture of formal and informal language. In addition, he speaks slowly and clearly. Highly recommend!

Really enjoying my lessons with Uriel. He has you speaking Spanish from the first lesson. I know I will be able to speak Spanish independently this year! Uriel is patient, kind and funny. He explains lessons thoroughly and does not hesitate to clarify and review when you need it! Highly recommend! What a wonderful to gain confidence in a new language!

I purchased an excursion package to Tepoztlán with Uriel and it was an unforgettable experience! Uriel is funny, respectful, patient, and a great teacher overall. When he picked me up in the morning, he asked me to only speak in Spanish which really gave me a boost of confidence to practice what I'd learned in class. The day trip was incredible; Tepoztlán is a beautiful mountainside town just outside of Mexico City. We got breakfast at a food market there and, with Uriel's help, I was able to order my sope and all the toppings I wanted in Spanish. Afterwards, we hiked up the hills to a beautiful Aztec pyramid, all the while talking about food, culture, and life in Mexico, all in Spanish! Uriel made me feel comfortable enough to not shy away from making mistakes (all of which he gently and patiently corrected); and he even taught me some fun Mexican slang! If you're going to visit Mexico City, I highly recommend buying an excursion package from ChidoLingo. No class or book beats learning Spanish through immersion accompanied by a great teacher like Uriel.

Llevo 3 meses tomando clases y puedo decir que me ha gustado mucho, ya que la modalidad de clases de una hora se te acomoda en cualquier momento del día. Aparte, son clases dinámicas que al final siempre sientes que estás avanzando. 100% recomendado.
