Best Sauces EVER
All of the Chilli No. 5 sauces that I have tried take hot sauces to another level! I like to think of myself as the hot sauce Queen! Ha ha, and these sauces I rate HUGELY. My favourites include the Heavenly Harissa and the Hot Ketchup, however the Mexican Fury and the Devlish Dijon get it too. THE SAUCES ARE THE BEST! Now to make food that do the sauces justice…. That’s the hard part!

Edit: I am changing my review based on the fact that the incident has been explained to my satisfaction! I did recive my product, and although they did not have to, customer service also gave me a refund as well as a very charming set of a selection of hot sauces. We've yet to try them, but once I spoke with someone they took great care to make things right - even more so than they had to. Thanks very much for the resolution!

We have immediately sent a Pizza PIzzazz chilli oil, a Passport Piccanté - world hot sauce collection, and a Jamaican Jerk 200ml bottle all Great Taste Award Winners and you will receive tomorrow. We have also refunded you for your original purchase of the chill oil. Our only excuse was we were moving kitchens at the time and your order may have slipped between the two systems. Ordered three advent calendars, 2 on the special offer and one a little while after.
I was sent an email about the extra items I ordered, to find out if I wanted them early or could wait until calendar was dispatched. I waited but did confirm all three calendars could be sent together.
This was acknowledged and last week I received my whole order.

the chillis are really nice but are very expensive for what you receive , what i mean is i think you are really paying for the packaging ,rather than the product which is nice but not needed

Dear Mike, I am so sorry you feel the packaging is not necessary. At all the shows we go to people say they absolutely love the packaging as it represents a gift to their loved ones and looks great in their home. Indeed we say, like you, the real gold is the fresh, delicious sauces which come in a variety of authentic flavours. The chillis are sources from the best producers in the UK and you can really taste the quality and are moist rather than all dry. Really sorry you feel overall Chilli No. 5 offers a poor product. All we can do is take your comments onboard and see how we can reduce the packaging, which is generally cardboard and glass. We are a small young team and are always learning, so we thank you for your review.

Dear David, We have just had confirmation your Advent Calendar has been delivered in good time for Advent. Unfortunately, there is no next-day delivery for our Advent Calendars as all our Advent Calendars go out each year on the same day 19th November so the idea is that will receive them just in time for the Advent fresh - sorry if you were charged additional shipping. We have now refunded you for the calendar & the shipping for your bother. We send mid-November each year as all our 24 gourmet sauces, flakes, spices, and oils in the calendar are made early November, the week before, so they come to you fresh so you have more time to use them through the next year - expiry 12-18 months. This is a huge task for our chefs, as you can imagine, so we can only send out limited numbers. Hopefully, you will now enjoy all our products throughout the Advent and into 2025. One fine day there was a card on the mat, along with the tatty ads for new pizza restaurants and roof work. This one was of a different order; beautiful design, compelling pitch set against an unimpeachable ethical backbone. And it was local! Had to be tried. That was then and ever since Chilli No.5 has met and exceeded those expectations. And did i mention the quality of the sauces? Superb!

Beyond Impressed
I'll caveat this; I haven't tasted the sauces yet :) But ...I have never experienced customer service like this. Rumble, the Founder / MD I gather, literally went out of his way and travelled across the city to hand deliver my passport picante gift set, in Ireland nonetheless. Having responded to my emails promptly and courteously, Rumble followed through on his word and arrived at my door with my purchase, and an additional gift, this evening. To say I'm impressed would be an understatement. Looking forward to seeing if the sauce lives up to the hype as if so I would have no hesitation in recommending Chilli No.5 and wish Rumble all the best with the business.
