Jason was a great guide, funny with great explanations and insights into Chinese history and life. We enjoyed getting to see Tiananmen Square, Hutongs, Forbidden City, The Great Wall & the Summer Palace. Jason got us in quickly avoided the crowds and Mr Chen was waiting in a cool a/c car. He also found some great restaurants for lunch, dumplings & Hot Pot 🤤 don’t wait, come to Beijing, it was amazing!!

Jason is a seasoned professional tour guide and very welcoming individual. Jason is very friendly and knowledgeable. He guided us through a wonderful and entertaining highlight of China

Selinda was awesome! I was taking a trip with my daughter and wanted a female guide that speaks English. Selinda took us around Beijing and was very patient and great at explaining the sites to my daughter. When the weather changed unexpectedly, she helped pivot activities from outdoor to indoor. It was a great trip!

We just wrapped up the Beijing portion of our trip with China Tours. I can’t believe how much we saw and experienced! We toured Confucius Temple and Imperial College, the Great Wall at Mutianyu (a bucket list item), Summer Palace, Water Cube, Bird’s Nest, Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and Temple of Heaven on our days in Beijing. Our guide Tony was incredible! He looked out for our every need. We never once had to even handle tickets or check in anywhere ourselves. He ensured we took breaks from the heat in the shade and showed his extensive knowledge of Chinese history and China in the present day. He spoke English very well. We appreciated his good humour. I would highly recommend China Tours and Eric to visitors to China.

Selinda was an excellent guide and showed us all the sites while explaining everything to us so that we could understand. We loved it.

Our guide in Beijing (Selinda) was absolutely amazing, she advised and hosted us so well. We had some of our best experiences ever. The Forbidden City and Great Wall being highlights. As a bonus she took us to some fantastic restaurants for lunch too. Knowledgeable and amiable, what a way to start our China trip. Thank you

The first part of my trip (Beijing) has been brilliantly organised. Very good and clear communication from the start. The guide, Lee, is very knowledgeable and has been so helpful. The driver, Li, is always in time and again so helpful. This part of my trip has been perfect.

Beijing-Lee was fantastic. Very accommodating. Went out of her way to help with a personal matter. Xi'an and Zhangjiajie-Summer and Lucy were fantastic. All were knowledgeable and flexible. I told Lucy that we had a birthday that day--she contacted China Tours and they provided a cake for us. Shanghai-John was super sweet. He was a little too talkative though (if that's a bad thing). Only complaint is in Zhangjiajie. Guide did not inform us that our driver would change so we had to carry our bags around the forest (I would have left the bags in our hotel room).

We had Jason and he was super fun! He brought an awesome and fun vibe making us laugh. He made the tour super easy and smooth and also curated the tour around some of the plans we wanted to do. He is super friendly and is talkative but not overly.

Jason in Beijing was an excellent guide! Very fun, informative, and made our excursion memorable. ChinaTours.com was excellent to work with for our itinerary. Highly recommend!

Jason did a great job today taking us around. He was very friendly and even provided us snacks and water in the Van. Jason also provided lots of information and knowledge about the Great Wall while we were there.

We had a perfect day with Jason for the Great Wall. Easy pickup, excellent help with tickets and planning. Jason was super helpful and very knowledgeable. He was also very fun to talk to and energetic! Would recommend him for a family with kids as well!

This is my first time on a group tour and it has started off very strong. Dora was responsive and friendly, making booking our multi-city China tour a breeze- even with a last minute delay due to visa processing. Our Beijing guide, Jason, picked us up from the hotel and has been helpful in getting around, sharing history and culture, and taking memorable photos. I’d recommend ChinaTours to anyone visiting China for the first time!

Tony was my guide in Beijing. He was very knowledgeable and always on time for pickups. We ate at good spots and he was even kind enough to help me out when my Alipay didn’t work properly. They were patient and we did everything on the itinerary. As a solo female traveler I always felt safe and I would definitely recommend him

We just returned from a 10 day 4 city ( Beijing, Xi'an, Chengdu, Shanghai) Panda experience with China Tours. What an amazing and culturally insightful trip it was.

Our first contact with Lora (who arranged the tour for us) was seamless and easy. We booked the trip well in advance and as one would expect changes need to be made as we got close to our departure date. Lora kept us informed and up to date the entire time. Provide us with all the needed information, form getting visa to a clear and easy to understand packet of information on what to expect once we arrived in China.

All of our accommodation were lovely and in good location.

We were meet by local tour guide on arrival in each for the 4 city we visited.

In Beijing Nancy was waiting for us just outside of the customs gate. She is so energetic that I knew the minute we met we were in good hands. Nancy took the rains and got us to all the sights we wanted to see at times that were the best for viewing taking in to consideration season and weather conditions.

Summer was our Xi'an guide, she is a wonderful person who clearly takes pride in showing folks around her native city. Her knowledge of the Terracotta Warriors is vast and up to date.

Jonny was our Panda guy in Chengdu. This man knows pandas and clearly loves them. It was such a special treat to be so up close to these amazing animals.

Shanghai was the last stop which was made special by Warren who also was very knowledgeable about his hometown. This was the shortest legs of the trip and we did not get to spend much time with him but that did not impede his sharing of long history of Shanghai, we felt we got to see so much.

Again all of the guides were fantastic it felt more like we were visiting old friends. Honestly we did not want to leave any of them when the time came. We will hold these memories close to our hearts.

Micheal, our tour guide with Beijing was amazing. He had a lot of knowledge about the city and always got us involved with many group photos, organising our amazing lunches and activities throughout the days.
We received many lovely gifts from Micheal which made it very special and showed that he cared about us all.
I wish he was our tour guide for the rest of the trip. 10/10 for Micheal and China tours.
