One of the hottest days of the year to move and the 2 guys were amazing. Professional, great communication, prompt. A very happy customer and would recommend City Moves to anyone moving in the near future.

I would not hesitate to use this company. I have now used them several times and never had an issue.
My last move involved my belongings going to different locations and this was facilitated effortlessly. The crew were very friendly and took care with my belongings. Made a very stressful day a lot easier.

I used City Moves on my recent house move and they couldn’t have been more professional and diligent. They made the process before the move and on the day stress-free and I would strongly recommend them to everyone.

Would highly recommended the CityMoves team - we had an exchange date that kept moving until 3 days before completion so their flexibility and moving day guarantee on receipt of deposit was vital for us and removed any stress about rushing last minute to book. Kirk was so helpful throughout and easy to get hold of - kept my mind at ease. Team on the moving day were brilliant, efficient and friendly!

The team turned up on time and were both pleasant and friendly whilst remaining professional. The move went without a hitch and everything was handled with care.

This review has been a long time coming as I just couldn’t face any more to do with my house move. City Moves? were very poor from beginning to end. I had a complex move involving some furniture going to one place, some to storage. The remainder of my furniture was then picked up two months later and also putting into storage. Finally, all furniture removed from storage and into my new house a few months later.
I paid for a fragile Pak. Total amount spent with City Moves was £3714.
Due to complex personal issues I needed the removal company to arrive on time and I was told they would be there at 8:30 and they were two hours late to collect the remainder of my furniture. This made the situation very awkward for me.
On unpacking my belongings in my new property, I find two pieces of antique glass are smashed. They were very poorly packed indeed. I raised the issue with the company and then ensued many messages stating that I had to give them formal valuations. This was not possible since they were antique, one item being gifted to me by a family member and one inherited. I sent over approximate evaluations of similar items on eBay. These were not considered good enough.
Worse than that, a true family heirloom, a painting inherited and painted by a well-known artist of the time of my great-great-grandfather was badly damaged. They had placed a very sharp item in the same box and tried to blame me for it. Obviously, I would not have done such a thing. I did try to get valuations for Repair and sent them over, they tried to contact the valuer and had no response and I’m afraid I took it no further because I was so exhausted.

Initially it was excellent but after they had gone we realised boxes clearly marked were in the wrong places like kitchen equipment in bedrooms and bedroom things in the dining room I recommend you write clearly and in big print what the items are and which room they are destined the move itself was speedy and efficient

Moved across Cardiff with City Move today. The whole day was totally lacking in stress thanks to Justin, Rhys and Jacob who swiftly and carefully packed everything up withn three hours. Even a table which I was sure would need to go out through the garden was weaseled through the front door. Gwasanaeth, Golfal a Chyflymder i gyd cant y cant. Diolch i chi bois!

We used City Moves for our move from Pontardawe to Swansea and from start to finish they were excellent. On the day of the move the team arrived on time and began putting floor and door protection down in our property before starting the loading of the vehicle. On arrival at the new property again protection was put down. The team of 4 guys worked hard throughout a very warm day and each of them was polite, friendly and helpful. We have moved many times and City Moves have been the best company we have used, and I am happy to recommend them to anyone looking for a good home removal company for a stress free move, and at a competitive price.

The first team arrived early and dismantled the furniture. The second team arrived with the lorry and worked quickly and carefully. Coming up with various solutions to issues around our none standard, narrow doorways and kept a good sense of humour. Would recommend.

Our move was very efficient and smooth. The movers were polite and courteous at all times and extremely hard working which made the whole process easier for us. Thank you

From the very first email about availability to the actual moving day everyone was polite, professional and courteous! The packing and moving team were outstanding and made what could have been a very stressful time run smoothly ! Nothing was too much trouble and despite it being one of the hottest days they remained cheerful and worked so hard!
They have also been to pick up empty boxes twice which is a huge help. I would highly recommend them!

City Moves were amazing. Moving home is such a stressful time, but the staff were so helpful, both on the phone and on the day of my move, and they reduced my stress levels enormously. I have been stressed about my moving but today when Marcus and Reece arrived they took control and everything went amazingly . I cannot thank them enough nothing was too much trouble . All the protection was put down over carpets and furniture was all wrapped up neatly . Everything was done in a fast and efficient way from one house to the other and at every point they asked me to check that I was happy with the service .
I would highly recommend this company from every aspect , from the initial call back and the video call to keeping me informed all the way . Absolutely fantastic thanks again boys .

Just really smooth experience from booking months in advance to actually moving. Can’t recommend here guys enough.

Brilliant from start to finish. Ralph, kofi &Byron were excellent , professional, conscientious, competent. They put us at ease straight away. Nothing was too much trouble even taking a door to and furniture legs to get stuff in room.it was during the recent heat wave too and they did not complain once how uncomfortable they felt just got on with the job in hand. There have been no breakages as they took great care off our possessions. Teamwork was brilliant and they all had a fabulous rapport whilst working together. Communication was effective and throughout process. Would highly recommend this company.
