Uxbridge Clarks - Great Customer Service
Uxbridge walked greeted by both young sales people. Great customer service was polite, patient and very knowledgeable about products for shoes. Pleasantly surprised as M&S staff who sold the shoes did not have the knowledge of the exact material; to be able to find the correct products to protect. Lara and Arif were helpful knowledgeable and great at sales for the various product packages. Telling me how to best use them and the different other shoes I could use the products on. Very helpful and knowledgeable!

Appalling experience in Uxbridge…
Visited the Clarks store in Uxbridge today at 4:15pm to get my feet measured and buy a spare pair of work shoes. I spent around 15 minutes in the store without a single member of staff approaching me. Eventually, I helped myself and measured my own feet.
That’s when the store manager decided to get involved not with an apology, but by telling me off for using the tape measure, saying “Brother, I can get someone to do that for you.” Interesting timing, given no one had bothered for the previous 15 minutes.
I explained I’d been waiting. No apology. No attempt to recover the situation. So I left.
An awful customer experience from start to finish, and a perfect example of how to lose an easy sale. Clarks didn’t just miss out on one pair of shoes today — they lost my custom entirely

Uxbridge branch, Andrea was an excellent sales member. She took all the time my son needed to try wide feet trainers on. She even showed him how to do up laces, which I have been trying for the last year. In 30mins he grasped the concept and I will never forget the smile on his face. A lifetime skill learned in such a short time! She ensured we were satisfied with the purchase and such a lovely person to meet. You deserve so much more in your career and it is not often we meet people like you. My son is very grateful for your kind hel. Keep up your wonderful customer service Andrea :)
STORE MANAGER IS RACIST AND ABSOLUTELY USELESS
I visited this store in Uxbridge on October 17th around 12:00 pm accompanied by my husband and my three-year-old daughter. Initially, we waited without any assistance from staff, which I understood due to the store's busyness. Eventually, we proceeded to check the sizes of shoes for my daughter. During this time, my daughter, being young, moved shoes from the last shelf to the second shelf, which I consider a typical activity for a child.
However, a middle-aged English lady approached us and began speaking to us rudely. I was taken aback, as such behaviour is unacceptable in a retail environment. I attempted to assist, but she responded dismissively, claiming I did not know anything, and then proceeded to throw shoes onto the floor. She also loudly told my daughter that such behaviour was unacceptable in my store. At that moment, We decided immediately to leave the store as I can't deal with anyone of this behaviour. It was evident that she was aware of my displeasure, yet instead of being sorry she did not acknowledge her misconduct. It's important to mention that her Asian staff was also there.
I would like to state that if this lady, who appears to be the store manager, lacks the patience to deal with kids then she should not be employed in this capacity. It would be appropriate for the store to display a sign at the entrance indicating that children are not allowed. I am concerned about the experience for children with disabilities who visit the store to explore new shoes as it'll be a part of their learning as she has no etiquette to deal with kids. Additionally, I have a suspicion that her behaviour was RACIALLY MOTIVATED.
I ASKED a formal apology, in writing, failing which I am compelled to address this matter publicly on social media. It is unacceptable for anyone to speak to me, my husband, or my daughter in such a manner.
I reported this issue to their customer service on October 20th and I'm still waiting. Now I'm
Going to share this on social media to bring awareness to the matter, as no individual should be subjected to such treatment.
