Ray Iles plane blade
Recently purchased a Ray Iles block plane blade to replace a 40 year plus worn out Record one. The replacement appears to be slightly thicker than the old record one, but is of equal quality. It's not often you can say that with modern steel compared to vintage Sheffield. Takes an edge and appears to stay sharp.
Excellent service from Classic Hand Tools from start to finish. Highly recommended

I have been buying tools from Classic Hand Tools in Suffolk for many years. However,I have had several tools with manufacturing problems over the years and Classic Hand Tools have always responded very quickly to resolve the problem (s) at hand.
