How does one start when removing the contents of a home that you were brought up in, and loved your whole existence. From my first encounter with Raul, there was nothing but professionalism and respect. He and his crew made a most difficult day (removing mom's stuff of 45 years!, our childhood home), with grace, and ease. From the start (on time! as we discussed, ha! never happens!), to the finish, it was done with dignity and compassion. His crew is amazing and I hope anyone who needs their service, appreciates their work and knows that while to them it's "junk", to us it's precious history. I wish them a long "history" of good business and most importantly pride in the work they do. Thank you all!

From the first call Raul was very nice and professional. He took his time. The work Crew was excellent, fast and detail oriented. They did a great job.

The team members are very nice, efficient, responsible workers. They came on time, and they successfully demolished and removed my large wooden deck on the 2nd floor, that was partially over an extension roof. First, they covered the hallway and my apartment floors with plastic, as well as the part of my bed that was in proximity of their passage -- for back up safety but nothing landed there. They could not cover the stairs but cleaned them up perfectly at the end.

They even accommodated my 1st floor neighbor's request that all the disassembled parts should go through my 2nd floor apartment instead of going through her garden apartment, which made their tasks more arduous and more time consuming. The underlying structure of my deck turned up to be rotten, which made a bigger mess than expected, each time a piece of plank broke into pieces, and so it took them more efforts and time to clean it up. Despite these extra work and time taken, they did not try to increase the fee that had been agreed upon before they started the work.

This is a very efficient and organized team and they also did an excellent cleaning job at the end of the deck removal. At first, I was not sure about the cleanliness aspect, because during the deck parts removal time, there were a few bits of dirt that landed beyond the plastic sheets covering the floors under their passage. When they saw my concern, they reassured me they would clean it all afterwards, and I trusted them, and they really did clean it all perfectly at the end. From the deck demolition and removal to the cleaning afterwards, it took about 4 and a half to 5 hours of work by 5 people. This was a large deck and partially rotten underlying structure.

Let me add some tips for people to optimize your experience, that are not just specifically related to this team of workers, but to any team of workers in general:

if you are only one person hosting at the time of the work, you will likely need to decide ahead of time if you wish to ask a friend to be present because you cannot be in 2 places at the same time, such as if the workers might need to go through more than one apartment for example -- this is a point not made specifically regarding this team, but it would be easier to have a 2nd person there in general.

I was by myself at the time of this job and I chose to see the work done with the deck removal itself (instead of the disposal of the parts near the hallway); and I recommend that it is a good idea, so that you can give your instructions to the men if you have specific expectations of how you want things to be and/or look afterwards; and this particular team was happy to implement my requests when I made them.

I would rehire this service again and I am grateful that they did such a good job for something that was not easy.

I'm in management we needed to clear out a entire office we needed someone insured Clutter Free emailed us documents and showed up ready to work. Clutter Free came in with a good team and got my horrible backyard sorted out in about 7 hours. They worked with me to find the best possible solution within my budget and while we went a bit over what I wanted to spend I got results and that’s what counts. Let’s just say the backyard went from a junkyard in training to an almost blank slate where anything's possible. For the first time in years I can actually look out the back window without feeling sick. Amazing!

While I had a couple issues with two trees being over pruned and some items being left outside past my property line that I had understood were going to be taken overall it was a positive experience and they got the job done in a fairly cost-effective and efficient manner. I definitely would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of some serious clean out ability without getting your wallet cleaned out. Will definitely be using them again if I have need of clean out services!

These guys were great! I would recommend them to anyone who needs stuff removed from their homes or anywhere else. They are reliable, friendly, did a great job, were on time, and even texted me when they were on their way! I had a few pieces of furniture to get rid of and one of the items was an old huge sofa that they actually cut in half to get out of the apartment! They even went above and beyond and brought me back a professional air purifier unit to keep overnight to freshen the air quality in my apartment, as I've had recent problem with an ill cat. Having need of an estate clean out of a home in Queens, NY while located in Northern New Jersey was disconcerting at best. Logically, a local based company would provide the best pricing, but who do you use when you don't know anyone local? After viewing various online reviews of Clutter Free Junk Removal Service it sounded like a good choice to make. In particular, people praised Raul Toscano as being a good person to work with. They were correct on both counts. Raul and team showed up on time and got the job done. In consideration of my not being able to be there to see their work, he shared before and after photos online and the result looks great. I'd use them again and would recommend them to others.

I am a senior citizen who unfortunately has had to reduce my possessions and live "lighter". I realized that some of the things I had in storage just were no longer necessary and of little value. Clutter Free was a great aid in helping me dispose of items I could not longer hold on to. Their driver, Raul, was most courteous and helpful with the extraction of items from my storage locker and hauling them away since I am no longer physically capable of heavy lifting.
