Horrible Customer Service DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

I ordered a balance bike for our son from Coco Village, and unfortunately, the experience has been extremely disappointing. When we received and assembled the bike, the handlebar broke in half—the wood completely split, raising serious concerns about the product’s quality and safety.

We reached out to request a refund, as we were well within the 30-day return policy. Instead of honoring that, they offered us a $50 store credit, which felt completely inadequate. After pushing back, they eventually agreed to send a replacement bike. However, they later claimed it was out of stock and promised to update us once it became available.

It has now been a month and a half, and we've received zero updates. We noticed the bikes were back in stock online for over a week, yet our follow-up emails and phone calls have been completely ignored.

Unfortunately, I’m not the only one—others in our circle of friends and family have had similarly poor experiences with Coco Village’s customer service. Based on this pattern, I would strongly advise against purchasing from them.

Poor finishing - unpolished splintering edges for a sensory table

I love the design of their new sensory table. However the piece came unpolished, with rough edges and splintering. My fault for not having done a full detail check before letting my toddler to use it (because WHY WOULD A CHILDREN’S TABLE BE UNPOLISHED???), and it actually scratched his arm. So disappointed. Emailed them to make this right and got 0 repsond.

Potential scam website

Absolutely terrible company and customer service. Ordered items April 3 and still not shipped. When I enquired they said I had pre order items and that the entire order won’t ship till those items arrived (originally quoted items available March 15- April 15). Explained that this was not in their policy on their website and they took a couple days to reply and screen shot a newly added blurb when you check out (which was not there a couple days earlier when I checked). New date of pre orders April 15- May 15. I believe this website is a scam and they will continue to change pre order date. Will not ship my items that are in stock. Customer service was condescending and continually said “rest assured” to me. I have not been rested assured.

Defective Helmet

I bought a Coco Village helmet for my kid. It looks nice - and falls right off his head. No matter how many times I adjust the back or the straps, they slip out of position and it slides to the side. It is not only defective, it is dangerous. Do not recommend. At all.

Still waiting for products after buying them months ago!

I placed a pre-order with Coco Melon in February. The shipping window passed without any updates. No email, no notice—nothing. I had to call the company myself to find out one item was on backorder, and due to their policy, they were holding my entire order. No one told me this.

I was told it would take 7–10 business days for the item to come in, and then another 7–10 days for shipping. I was also told they’d flag my order for priority shipping, but with “no guarantee.” It’s now day 12—still no update, no shipping confirmation, no package.

This is unacceptable. I’ve been more than patient, but the lack of communication and follow-through is a huge problem and very disappointing!

J'ai reçu la commande mais pas à la bonne adresse j'ai appeller pour savoir pendant 1 mois et plus et mon dit livrer mais rien alors j'ai contacter par émail et ne veule pas rembourser j'ai débourser presque 300$ bande de voleur sérieux je commande pus la sais vraiment incroyable

Cocovillage very poor customer service and future customer promotion.

Let me start off by saying we received a gift that was a cocovillage ice cream set. We loved it. So we wanted more of these products for our kids. So we found it at mastermind toys, they had a sale so we gifted a bbq set for a kids birthday. Loved. So, of course I thought wow I will just order directly and buy some gifts for the upcoming 6 birthdays my son has. That was a huge mistake. I reached out about the fact that my order was not going to ship in time of the birthdays, and if I could make a separate order and cancel some items and re-order. All I got back was “policy” verbiage and that it was not possible and they understand my frustration. Now we are waiting on this order for two months and it has still not shipped and the products are now on sale and they will not help with any price adjustments. So now I am going to be out the money and now have to hold on to the product whenever they decide to arrive and hope I can gift at some point as all the birthdays will now have passed. If they just tried to help at all I would not have decided to no longer purchase their products and gifted their product to so many families. Very disappointing.

This is a very bad company

This is a very bad company, scam, they don't refund anything, even a defected item which is their fault, I asked for a refund and to send back the item and refused, someone with the name Amelie refused to refund their defected item and lost my money.. I forgot they offered a gift card or resend the item which i refused cause i dont like to buy something and be damaged and the quality is poor, why would I want to buy again something from there after refusing to refund it, bad costumer service, stay away, and scam instagram profile. Beware!

This company has the worst customer service! I needed to use a different shipping address for a 'pre-order' product. I called immediately to have it changed, and they told me that it was not possible to change the shipping address because the product had been shipped. Very hard to believe that. Now I was left to deal with UPS - never buying from them again!

Beware

I placed an order from Coco Village on March 10 for a wooden task board. It says, on the product page, this item is in stock ready to ship 2-5 days from purchase. Well, two weeks later it still hasn’t shipped. I contacted support twice to inquire why it hasn’t shipped. First response they said it would take 10 days to process. What??? That’s contradictory to what it says on the product page. The second email I received no response. I’ve reached out to PayPal who I used to complete the order, hopefully they can resolve this for me. I was not surprised to find thousands of negative reviews. Disappointed but not surprised. I just wish I looked them up sooner and saved myself the headache. Lesson learned and I will never order anything from them again. I recommend other buyers beware.

The product (balance board) came in…

The product (balance board) came in defect. When I asked for a replacement shipment, the customer service said a 8 weeks delay while the same exact product is shown in stock on their website. Hard to believe that's how they course correct....

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I ordered an item that was not on pre sale. After about a week, I still did not have a shipping update. When I reached out, suddenly the order was on pre sale and was non refundable. They said you agreed to this when I purchased, even though no where on my receipts or order summary does it say that It is pre order. I also specifically chose the colour I did so it was no a pre order. Anyways, now they won’t help me and I am waiting two months for this product that is not returnable. Apparently it’s my word against theirs. Super rude customer service team too.

Worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with…

Worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. Especially disappointing as trying to support Canadian companies. Learning tower was missing step piece and as I was out of the 30 day warranty period they offer no help or solutions, and do not have any individual pieces even for purchase. Was told it was my responsibility to have checked at the time of delivery that all pieces were included, but I had bought while on sale and only got around to assembling later on. Explained I trusted they would have sent all pieces. Kept saying there was no options to replace step, yet kept asking if there was anything else they could help me with.

Worst company on the planet - DO NOT BUY ANY OF THEIR PRODUCTS - DANGEROUS

If I could give this company a negative point I definitely would. Listen to the reviews and stay far far away from this company.
The product is adorable but poorly made. I purchased the Wooden Activity Walker for my Grandson's first Christmas. Within 2 weeks of use, one of the wheels kept falling off and could not be reinstalled and became a choking hazard with the bolts flying off. I contacted Coco Village and they basically gave me $50.00 Future Credit which I refused obviously as all I want is the Walker in working condition.
After numerous back and forth with customer service on Jan 29th 2025 they agreed to replace the Walker. It is now Feb 27th and I have followed up approx 10 x to see exactly were my replacement is. They said it would be shipped in 7 - 15 business days and still I have not received confirmation of shipping.
As soon as I email following up, they send back some template saying "we are working on your replacement"

This is the worst company to deal with. It is now 1 month from the date of promise and still it has not been shipped.

My Grandson now walks independently but would still enjoy the activity centre.

All I want is for them to finally send out the item they promised.

Do not get fooled by how pretty these items look which is exactly what happened to me. They are poorly made and the company has no morals or customer service.

Buyer beware! You will not be happy!

PS This response from Coco is absolute trash. They know exactly who I am. This is a standard reply, I have now received approx 15 emails stating how sorry they are for the delay, no one can explain why it is taking 5 weeks at this point to send out a new Walker. Still not shipping confirmation.

Today, I received an email from a Senior Agent
By the way, this is obviously a template she sent to another angry client and how disrespected I feel as she cannot be bothered to actually use my name "Anne" not Charity....
Also, she confirmed a bunch of layoffs which means this company is struggling even though she says they have a higher than normal volume currently. I ordered the item just before Christmas (Nov) and received within 2 weeks. No busier time than Christmas my friend. LOL

Buyer Beware

I had an extremely frustrating experience with Coco Village’s customer service, and I would not recommend this company to anyone. I ordered a learning tower, and it arrived with a defective/missing part. After reaching out to their support team, they assured me that a replacement would be sent, but weeks later, I have received nothing—not even a follow-up email with an update.

Their lack of communication and follow-through is unacceptable, especially considering the premium prices they charge. It is disappointing to see a company that claims to prioritize customer satisfaction completely fail in providing even basic support and accountability.

If you're considering buying from Coco Village, think twice—because if anything goes wrong with your order, you might be left with zero resolution and no response. I regret my purchase and will not be recommending this company to friends or family. Buyer beware! 🚨

I would rate this company in the…NEGATIVE if I could. Ripping people off and not standing behind their garbage products!

I would rate this company in the negative if I could. In the first 15 min. (I kid you not) of giving our grandson his wooden bike, the handle bars broke in two. He was very upset, understandibly. I contacted the company and wanted a refund. It is under 30 days. They refused. I spent $129.99 plus txes and they want to send me a $50 electronic gift card. Can you believe it. This is fraud. DO NOT BUY FOM THEM. BUYER BEWARE !!!!!

Terrible communication and shipping experience

Ordered a few items on Black Friday (Nov 22) and received communication shortly before Christmas one of the items wouldn’t ship on time but they could break out the order so the second would arrive, the second item did not ship or arrive before Christmas and I was informed after Christmas it was not possible for them to break the order up. Then was told the full order would be received before the end of December. Had to threaten visa chargeback before I finally got the items in early January.

If I could give it a 0 I would. It’s a joke of a company .. ordered in November for an educational tower, was guaranteed to have it by Christmas, never received it .had to follow up every week since .. they kept saying they were either looking into it or they were sending it. I got a tracking finally 2 months later and guess what it shipped and delivered to the other side of Canada. I did a charge back and I hope that person enjoys their free tower . Unless they gave me a fake tracking number to shut me up .. who knows at this point and I don’t care but I highly suggest you NEVER ORDER FROM THEM. I will make sure to tell anyone who asks what a horrible experience it was. They also asked me to cancel the chargeback and they would send me a new tower. I obviously did not because let’s be honest I never got it after following up once a week what would make this any different
