Persistent Environment Errors and Poor Performance
I’ve tried using Codex multiple times, even after carefully connecting it to GitHub, refreshing cache memory, and following all configuration steps. Despite that, it constantly shows an “environment creation error” and never completes initialization successfully. The process lacks transparency and doesn’t offer clear troubleshooting guidance.
Performance is also disappointing when uploading or syncing multiple files, the system becomes extremely slow or freezes entirely. Even with a proper setup and active repository permissions, Codex simply fails to operate reliably.
At this stage, it feels more like a beta product than a stable tool. I really hope the developers improve speed, stability, and the overall user experience soon.
