Hi there,
We’re sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your experience, as this certainly isn’t the impression we want any customer to be left with.
We’ve reviewed the order and the live chat conversation, and we can confirm that you contacted our team specifically to ask how to use the free shipping offer. Our team provided you with the discount code via the live chat itself.
Unfortunately, the code was not successfully applied to the order at the point of purchase. This meant that the standard £4.50 delivery charge remained on the order, bringing the total to £6.49. The delivery charge and final order total are clearly displayed at checkout before payment is completed.
As with any online purchase, it is the customer’s responsibility to review their basket and final order total at checkout and ensure that any promotional code has been successfully applied and that the amount being charged is as expected before completing the purchase. Had the code been successfully applied, the delivery charge would not have been included in the final total.
We appreciate that this was frustrating, particularly as you had contacted us beforehand for guidance. However, as the code had not been successfully applied at checkout, we were unable to retrospectively apply the discount after the order had been placed.
You’ve also mentioned that you found the quality of our confetti to be poor, although no specific details have been provided as to what you found unsatisfactory about the product. We take genuine product feedback seriously and would have been very happy to understand what you felt was wrong and address your concerns directly.
We’re proud to have received over 1,000 positive reviews from our customers, and we work hard to provide both high-quality products and helpful customer service. We’re therefore disappointed that this particular experience has resulted in such a negative review.
We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.
Chloe
