The visit was quick, easy and hassle-free. The engineer came to my home and explained the process, then quickly installed the device. It was done before I knew it. I can't see any difference in water pressure. Thank you Control Flow for saving water and money.

We received a visit from this company unbeknown to us that they would be attending. Apparently 2 SMS 1 Email were sent to us and i can honestly say we received nothing. After talking to the company who were rude and said do you not want to save money, which to be honest was not the point. Myself and husband were not in when your employee arrived and my 84 year old Mother was in the property. She was told it was to read the meter and from United Utilities. They had not got our permission to come in and start changing other things in the house. I had to ring home after seeing on our ring doorbell that you were in my house much longer than just taking a meter reading. You changed things in our taps that made when we turned off a tap it ran for a while after (how is that saving me money?) This is cold calling at its best

I really recommend booking with Control Flow. The water audit was offered to me for free and was no hassle whatsoever. I look forward to seeing my bills decrease and helping save water.

You've come round telling us we might have a leak, messed about with the water and now left us with no water at all and we have 3 children.

Now I cant get through to any phones.

brilliant experience all round for me the man came did an assessment realised too much water was coming out of my taps fitted the device all hassle free from me and after having it fitted in April I am now delighted to have had my first bill and have saved a fortune. Nothing to be worried about at all , I hadn't heard of them and did wonder if it was legitimate at first as I had received an email but hadn't seen it . Thanks for a great experience and saving me money.

Cold called. Rude and aggressive

Very pushy.

Sent a letter which I was getting around to dealing with.

They cold called at the doorstep confusing my elderly parents, I was luckily there to tell the cold called to go away.

This company is acting like it is the 1980’s, we have signs plastered over all of our door saying ‘No Cold Callers’.

This company put my parents in danger, they are at high risk of falls and had just been settled with cups of tea and programmes to watch.

I will be reporting this company for cold calling, ringing the bell and knocking on the door ignoring signs.

A representative from Control Flow Technologies Group cold called my house yesterday. Neither myself or my wife were home, but they managed to talk their way past my 82 year old father in law before making their way around my home on the premiss that we are using too much water. With clearly no attempt to check if he was the homeowner, they then arranged to install some sort of flow restriction. They left no paperwork, contact details, or any evidence of the planned work. When I called UU they could also find no details of the visit. We recently had a new water meter installed (I think the whole street had the same judging by all the discarded parts left behind). Following this we suffered from greatly reduced water pressure. I called UU and the next day someone (white van, no uniform, so guessing a contractor) turned up and removed something from the new water meter installed- I’m guessing it was the same thing that they have now organised to re-fit without the homeowner’s consent. I’m pretty disgusted by what’s happened. UU said they’d received a number of complaints about Control Flow Technologies and are investigating.

Our tap could not dispose any hot water for days, we couldn’t shower for a night. No one came to re-check after we addressed the issue

Misleading sales tactics. We were informed that there appeared to be a water leak on our premises due to increased water usage, and that the company was working alongside United Utilities to help identify the issue.
After requesting further information, I received an email which turned out to be a general water audit offering advice on reducing water usage and saving money, rather than any formal notification regarding a suspected leak.
I felt this approach was misleading. The sales representative’s communication did not accurately reflect the purpose of the contact and was not an appropriate way to promote the company’s services. A more transparent and honest approach would have been appreciated.

We did not receive prior notification from United Utilities when an employee from ControlFlow turned saying we were using more water than we should be - we are fairly typical - and hustled their way on to our property, claiming to be from the utility to do our free water audit. We felt put on the spot and under pressure, including being made to sign something - we aren’t sure what - that we now suspect includes having flow control devices that we don’t want or need. Very unhappy with what appears to be high pressure sales.

Control Flow visited our property after we received a letter, and they were very helpful and let us know what was happening during every step of the way.
They were extremely friendly and made us feel very comfortable! I can’t wait to see some potential savings on my utility bills!

I did receive an email regarding having a water test on my property. I assumed this would be optional ? I do appreciate you are trying to help. But I was disappointed when one of your employees came to my property on a Sunday which was a Bank Holiday. Unannounced!
I felt put on the spot a bit and harassed.
I did not request an appointment.

Really happy with the product and my plumber was super informative and helpful. Considering this was a free appointment it was a no brainer!
