I cannot recommend Cottage Boutique highly enough. They were always quick to respond to e-mails prior to our stay and when we had an issue with out hot water, they sorted it as soon as possible which was much appreciated. They went above and beyond and we would definitely use them again.
A special thank you to Jane for helping me throughout the booking process and also with a special request I asked about. It is so handy the office being in the centre of St Ives.

​We stayed at Bay View for the second time, and it was even better than last time, as we went during the summer!
​The house is in a fantastic location: a very quiet area, but just a few steps away from the shops and harbour. It has everything you need and more, equipped with high-quality furniture and equipments, a clear signal that the owners actually use and love their home. It offers amazingly fast internet for anyone who needs to work, plenty of board games for all ages to keep the kids entertained and a lovely garden with a beautiful view that's perfect for alfresco dining (and breakfast, and lunch!).
​The Cottage Boutique always leaves a lovely welcome pack with local products, which is a great touch. But this time they went above and beyond. I accidentally left behind a backpack containing my laptop, which was found by their cleaning team, and they contacted us immediately. We had left quite early and were already four hours away, so we asked Vicki if she could pack and post it to us before the post office closed for the day. Voilà, it arrived at my door the very next morning!
​Massive kudos to Vicki, an absolute lifesaver and a total star! Many thanks to The Cottage Boutique and the lovely house owners for making our stay go amazingly smoothly once again.

We experienced ongoing issues with this property, but what made the experience even worse was the extremely rude and unprofessional customer service from the managing director, Claire, and the staff.

The property itself had numerous problems, including black mould, dirty crockery, nails sticking out of the floorboards that injured one of our group a baby (with no apology offered), filthy cushions, an unusable freezer, a dirty courtyard, and windows covered in bird droppings. The issues were endless.

Overall, the lack of professionalism and poor attitude shown after our stay was unacceptable. We would not use this company again and would strongly advise friends and others to avoid.

My family and I have just spent our Christmas time at Sailors Rest ( Carbis Bay ).. I have to say that the home is absolutely impressive. Every detail to ensure that we had a pleasant experience is paid too and the surroundings are fantastic.. thank you so very much and happy 2026.

Need to be made aware of slat flooring which is not appropriate for small dogs as their legs go straight through the gaps and this is not noted anywhere, pictures of this would also be appropriate
The toaster only works on one side and the coffee machine leaks out lots of water
We only had three people but if there was four of you seating in the lounge is not enough for any more that 3 people
The property is in a great location and is a good property but you need to make people aware of a few things and the internet is terrible so we couldn’t watch much at all on tv the braid band is very bad streaming is terrible

Superb house in the best part of St Ives.

We stayed at Gimme Shelter, a beautiful holiday cottage in St Ives. The property has been renovated to a very high standard and was extremely comfortable and welcoming. We had a very enjoyable holiday and would stay here again.

We stayed at Tuckers Cottage for 2 weeks, first 2 weeks in August, it is lovely and super quirky!
On arrival I noticed that some of the towels hadn't been changed but after a quick phone call they were changed. I messaged the owner regarding the windows not opening, Victoria apologised and ordered a fan which was delivered the next day and much needed as it got very warm downstairs.
It was a lovely 2 weeks apart from the grumpy chef from the Mermaid restaurant ( which the cottage backs on to) who loved to rev his motorbike engine at 9.45pm each night and the noise and smells from the restaurant which isn't helpful with children trying to sleep, but not the owners fault!
The decor in 2 of the bedrooms are a little tired but didn't affect our stay, there is plenty of storage in all bedrooms and having a washing machine/ dryer, dishwasher and parking space nearby is a bonus. Maybe would benefit from getting a bigger refuse bin, as we struggled with a family of 6 and had to take rubbish to local bins, which isn't ideal.
We would stay again, but not with young children.

We have just finished a 3 week holiday in St Ives (No29) enjoying fantastic weather and a great holiday cottage, ideally situated. Every person we dealt with at Cottage Boutique was professional, very friendly and only too keen to help out. We were very impressed and would thoroughly recommend CB to anyone considering holidaying in St Ives and they will be our first port of call for future visits.

Just had a brilliant stay in St Ives. Fantastic place to stay, lots to do and plenty of places to eat. Highly recommend the Thai. Communication from cottage boutique was excellent and heartily appreciated all the information sent before we left home.

Overall: lovely. We had a nice stay. The house was clean, well equipped and tastefully finished! The location was beautiful. If we were to be critical of a few things: the floor boards are all very creaky so sneaking around at night is impossible! Our kids took great pleasure in squeezing through the spindles on the bannister; not the safest. The attic bedroom has no door which would really have been useful to know in advance to plan for! Finally blackout curtains would have just helped secure better sleep in-between wake-ups from a 3 and a 5 year old!

Yet another fantastic week in St Ives, made even better by the beautiful Enys House. Our party of nine and Charlie the dog were catered for perfectly, can’t fault the property, location perfect for walking to all beaches and the town for bars and restaurants. 100% will book again, The Cottage Boutique were brilliant, thank you x

Honest Cottage, honestly ……….. good location, cottage tired and in need of some TLC. We arrived to a damp cottage, clearly hadn’t been rented in a few weeks. The damp smell wasn’t great either, had to purchase a candle to help get rid of the smell. I assume the damp is the reason we had a family of wood lice in the kitchen area. A few initial problems , no light in the dining room area, light on the stairs also not working. Rubbish bin full not been emptied. Cottage boutique were fast to rectify lighting and bin. 3rd day into the holiday no hot water, again cottage boutique quick to respond but not really what you want on your holiday. Asked multiple times about the broken TV remote in the bedroom, remained unfixed.
Lovely having a cottage with an outdoor space however it was filthy and in need or a good clean to even sit outside. The space would also benefit hugely with somewhere to hang your wetsuits and an outdoor tap.
Overall the property would benefit from a good spring clean including the furniture the dogtooth patterned chair is full of stains and absolutely minging. The photos on the cottage boutique site paint a very different picture of what the reality was.

Trendreath house was a lovely property, but unfortunately our experience with Cottage Boutique was poor.

We arrived at the property and noticed we had minimal kitchen items, no hairdryer, no washing up liquid, nothing to clean the kitchen sides down with, no bbq that was mentioned in the welcome pack, no microwave. I promptly let them know we were missing some items and they came over the next day to check, confirming we were missing a lot off their checklist.

I rang the following day to check when we’d receive the items as we’d planned to cook later in the week, and was told they’d bring some over either that day or the next. The next day arrived and nothing was bought over. I rang a further two times and was told the same thing, nothing ever arrived!

We paid a lot of money for the property and would’ve expected the checks to have been complete ahead of us arriving. I understand we were the first guests in, but they had time to make reel on their instagram, so it’d of been great if they used the time to get the property ready for guests instead!

Our cottage in Rose Lane, the Downalong area of St. Ives is in a great location close to the shops, restaurants, harbour and beaches.

We have stayed in that cottage before and we really love everything about it. Apart from the location, it is
comfortable, spotlessly clean and well equipped. The only minor issue we had was to do with the washing machine and Jane quickly got onto that. The house ladies even came round and showed us what to do; case resolved

Another enjoyable stay in St Ives using quality Cottage Boutique accommodation. We have been using Cottage Boutique for bookings for our holidays in St. Ives for at least 12 years and will continue doing so

We had the best weekend in St Ives and absolutely adored our stay at Bay House. The house is beautifully furnished with thoughtful local touches (the handmade soaps smelled divine!), immaculate throughout, and the views are just glorious. We loved the cosy wood burner on a drizzly evening and the sweet little garden out front.

St Ives itself was a hit with everyone — from kid-friendly visits to the Tate and exploring the shops to spotting dolphins and seals from a local boat trip. We also had a fab takeaway from Talay Thai, complete with a cheeky cocktail at pickup!

I’d recommend Bay House and The Cottage Boutique without hesitation.

Just back from a wonderful week stay at this lovely apartment. Super clean and welcoming with some amazing local treats to try. Having a conservatory and outside space was a bonus given how lucky we were with the weather. Short walk down to St Ives town. Great central space to explore - walks around coast in both directions were fab - four beautiful beaches. Having a car space was invaluable (and saves us from seagull “gifts!) The WiFi connection was not as we had hoped it would be so we have passed this onto the owner via the agent as it could well be a Sky issue (agents were very prompt in responding). Highly recommend this property. Would love to visit again. (Cheaper to book directly with The Cottage Boutique rather than AirBNB)

We just wanted to say a huge thank you for the amazing accommodation we had for our wedding weekend.

The house was absolutely lovely — so beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. The location was perfect, and having such easy parking made everything so much less stressful for us.

We also really appreciated the late check-out — it made such a difference and allowed us to enjoy the morning after without feeling rushed.

Thank you again for everything — it really helped make our wedding weekend even more special!
