Over 50's Speed dating
I went to an over 50's speed dating event in Winchester. Lovely place to host it, but sadly it wasn't hosted particularly greatly and wasn't fun as I'd anticipated.
The bar staff were lovely and friendly the host was a stand in for the original and didn't seem all that engaged. I think that given the cost there would be more.to it, even a free drink but there was nothing that made me feel like I'd want to go again.

We did have a stand-in host that evening, so I'm sorry the energy wasn't quite what you'd hoped for. From what our host saw, the room was in great spirits, with plenty of chatting, food dates and numbers being swapped, so it sounds like the connections were happening even if the format felt a little quieter than expected.

Too many women . Croups are random and not selected to match wt common interests. Last time it was 2 men and 9 women.. if i were the organiser i would have cancelled the event. Looks tgey didnt because gathering participation fees was more important to them..

Their partner Love at First Sign is…
Their partner Love at First Sign is absolutely useless. Absolutely useless! Never buy a ticket for their events! In their T&C they would not allow you a refund regardless of the situation. I bought tickets for two events, and the first one got cancelled. They did not provide a notice and cancelled it for all the participants who were already at the venue. They offered me a ticket for the next event(as compensation), which I had already booked. After asking for a refund, since I already have a ticket for this event, they said that this is not possible and that I could take a friend with me to the event instead. Just for perspective, the first tickets I bought were for JANUARY - in May still 0 events carried out.
