Having completed almost 2 terms with County Teachers I am thankful for the friendly and professional support I have received. I have had a busy 2 terms with flexibility and have visited some wonderful schools. The team are always available to speak to and ran a fantastic free CPD during the May half term break.

From the start the process for supply teaching was clear. The staff are approachable and friendly and I feel that schools have been matched to my preferences.
So far I have had enough work and there has been no need to enrol with another agency.

I joined County Teachers in Stevenage in 2025 and initially had a very positive experience. The consultant I worked with, Brooke, was professional, approachable, and genuinely supportive. Similarly, the compliance process under Lucy was efficient and well-managed.

However, following changes in management, my experience of the agency declined significantly. Communication became less supportive, and I felt that teacher welfare was no longer prioritised to the same extent. The focus appeared to shift more towards business outcomes rather than maintaining strong, balanced relationships with staff.

From my perspective, this change in approach made it a less positive environment to work within. While others may have different experiences, I personally would not choose to work with the agency again under its current structure.

I would encourage the organisation to reflect on how it supports and represents its teachers, as this can make a substantial difference to overall satisfaction and trust.

I first joined County Teachers in 2021. I also registered with 4 other supply agencies. To be honest, Chloe Stoker and her staff team at County Teachers have been brilliant! I have recently joined again to do some daily supply work and Chloe has made this a smooth process, always replying to my queries quickly and finding me work within my area of experience and interest and at a fair daily rate. I would highly recommend County Teachers!

County Teachers are an efficient, reliable and supportive agency that has found placements for me in local schools from very early in September. County Teachers have been really helpful and amazing from the day of joining as a day-to-day supply to helping me get a long term role. They have lots of Supply work available and maintain really good relationship with the teachers.
