After experiencing problems with the…

After experiencing problems with the extension refusing to use any coupons, I reached out to their customer support for assistance. I got an automatic response right away, but after that, there was no further contact from them with an actual solution to my problem. Days went by and there was still no contact. I had hoped for much more from a company that markets itself as an AI shopping assistant.

However, everything turned out to be contrary to what I expected. The application was showing me unreal discounts, which were not available on the website of the retailer. In the end, I had to buy the product without any discount after a lot of comparison.

Thanks for the honest feedback, and we're sorry the experience didn't match what was promised — that gap is exactly what we don't want. A bit of context that may explain part of it, though it doesn't excuse the frustration: some offers shown are store-wide or category promotions rather than codes, and some are regional or account-specific (first-order discounts, minimum-spend deals), so a discount that's real for one shopper or region may not apply to another cart. That said, if what you saw was simply a discount that didn't exist at the retailer at all, we want to trace it — could you email support@couponly.ai with the store name and roughly when this happened? We can check what was displayed and why, and correct the listing if it's wrong. We'd rather show fewer offers that always hold up than more that sometimes don't.

I installed the app Couponly since it promised to automatically find the most suitable and working coupons for me. The application provided several coupon codes during payment, but unfortunately, all of them were either expired or simply did not work at all. I lost about half an hour trying various coupon codes, only to pay full price for the product. It was really irritating and disappointing because the app misled me.

We're sorry about the frustrating experience — that's genuinely not what checkout with Couponly should feel like. Two things worth explaining. First, an honest limitation: there isn't always a working code for every store, product, or cart — some retailers run no active promotions at a given moment, and some codes only apply to specific categories or minimum amounts. When that's the case, the right outcome is that Couponly tells you quickly, not that you spend half an hour trying codes. Second, if the extension surfaced multiple codes that were all expired, that's exactly the kind of case we want to dig into — could you email support@couponly.ai with the store name and rough date? We'll trace what was shown and why, and fix what we find. Thanks for taking the time to write this — reports like yours are how the code pool gets better.
