Bought wardrobe from Amazon 380£ never got delivered by this company.After week still straggling to get any information or even refund.No proof of delivery,nothing

I lasted all of a week. Upon orientation I advised that I could be on call from 12-6. I asked about the amount of work during that time and the recruiter was honest saying it could be touch and go but there is work avaialble just no as much as the day shift hours. They label you as an independent contractor but use terms like termination. But whatever, my largest complaint is lack of transparency. I was advised to call before the start of the shift 12am and continue to call hourly for work. However, once my shift start each day I was told there's never that much work during those hours in my area "hardly if ever, if something comes up we will call." Once outreach was made and a route was assigned from Hickory NC to Charlotte. So I drove from Huntersville to Hickory then south charlotte to deliver a specimen and had no clue of the $ per mileage flat rate or anything. In fact Courier Express doesn't even reveal how much you've made until the end of a pay cycle. They also take out all these fees but require you to increase your policy limits on your vehicle. Needless to say I delivered a specimen for free for this company. I don't know how people make a decent living here but this job would be for individuals who are willing to invest in someone elses courier company and benefit well after doing a nominal amount of work. You would have to slave drive to make peanuts at the end of the week unless you have no work life balance. So good luck with them. Their transparency is nonexistent and their technology SUCKS. They don't reveal what you're getting paid and they take all of theres off the top immediately. I'll be transparent for you. They charge for a uniform (a vest you can get from walmart), $15/wk. Background check $85, ID badge which you don't receive (at least i didnt') $5/wk my deductions ended up being right under $50/wk and I didn't even know how much that one route paid. I do not recommend I give 0 out of 5 stars.

I was expecting a package of food from Wild Alaskan Company (fish). It was supposed to come yesterday, but never even got a call that my package wasn't coming.

I called yesterday evening and I was told that they wouldn't guarantee if I would get my package yesterday and told me to call this morning.

I called this morning and was told that they have a policy that they wouldn't guarantee any delivery of any package they deliver. I said, so what you're saying is that you nothing shipped with your company has any guarantee of actually making it to it's intended recipient? She said "Yes, we never guarantee, so maybe you'll get it today or maybe not. If its perishable, you'll have to deal with the company you bought it from, as we don't handle any complaints for packages we decide not to deliver."

It seems a lot of these companies are using these gig based delivery companies and they people that do the deliveries just don't give a damn.

I would suggest that you ask ANY company that you buy products from and ask if they use this company for deliveries. If so, I wouldn't buy the products and order from somewhere else, because according to their policy, you may or may not get your goods and if you don't...well they don't care.
