I came across Courtaid because I needed to some legal research and it was free. Whilst I can't say that it is comparable to big names like Weslaw and LexisNexis, Courtaid was good enough for me.

In fact, I would go as far as to say that whenever I made a query on the free platform the answer I got was often very comparable to a research memo drafted by a competent fresh law grad yet to enter into practice, but much faster.

Unfortunately, that is where Courtaid loses some points with me. As I said the answers given are usually comparable to a research memo done by a competent fresh law grad yet to enter into practice.

Indeed, a few times, I was directed to the wrong case when clicking a hyper-link and more often times, the answer produced was not in line with what I had expected.

Be that as it may, I always still come back to using Courtaid as a free platform to at least point me in the right direction for the solution I need.

NOTE: This is based on the free platform, it might be the case that the paid version might produce better results then the one I experienced.

Has always surpassed expectations. One of the greatest value purchases I've ever made.

I was able to gather together all the legal information I needed. It was so simple.

I'm a pedant and a critic when it comes to AI having been a Lawyer for 20 years who started out as an academic in research methodology way back when!

So, when I say that the utility and reliability of courtaid.ai exceeded my expectations, you can trust me as a discerning reviewer with a keen eye for detail and nose for BS!

Give it a go - do your best to test the limits of what you know! I can assure you that you'll be impressed and maybe even a little hopeful about how AI can actually facilitate and streamline your workload.

Courtaid.ai is such a game changer when it comes to legal research on specific questions. The ability to converse on very niche questions in specific jurisdictions makes things way more efficient. I've been impressed by it's ability to consider cases and legislation from other jurisdictions which aren't necessarily binding, but analogous to the situation I've presented. Recent October updates also make me wish I had this while I was studying. So good.

This site has helped me navigate legal issues and find legal case judgements and gain a knowledge of the issues I am facing without paying for real life legal advice. It is fast, comprehensive and easy to use. I had a free trial and have actually paid for a subscription now. It is well worth the money. I highly recommend. I have tried other similar sites which are free, but the information is generalised and you don't get exact advice and they don't show true court judgements. You will be impressed by this site. There are regular email updates letting you know if improvements continually made to the site.

I used Courtaid for the first time this week, searching for some cases and principles to cite in a matter. After just typing in a few key words, I had some very relevant cases for what I was looking for. I also liked how it had a list of documents referenced and the feature of follow up questions. I will definitely be using this useful tool in the future

I found it very easy to navigate, and helpful at a time when to engage a lawyer will be too cost prohibitive. It was interesting reading some case law, that pertained to my queries, an awesome tool, my finances won’t allow for a monthly subscription so having a limited free option was awesome …roll on to next month so I can access the site again, I would highly recommend to others.
