Not good custom fit

I have a ford ranger and ordered all seat covers. It didn’t come with the center console cover. And, back seat cover is horrible. It has an opening for drop down cup holder that is way too big. I have a dog which will now have access to my leather seats underneath. Overall, I would not purchase again as I didn’t like the fit especially for the high price.

Extraordinary customer service

It is relatively easy to fulfill a standard order. To me, that is not the mark of an excellent company.

The mark of an excellent company is how they deal with problems. Are they moral? Are they respectful? Covercraft is both.

They made a mistake on my order, but they took the time to communicate the mistake, correct it, and compensate me for the inconvenience.

Their craftsmanship is miles above average, so I wasn't worried about whether or not my product would be up to spec. What I am worried about is what every consumer is worried about - what happens when things go wrong. Covercraft answered that question with class, communication, and integrity.

You will have a very hard time finding better.

Covercraft Gets a "1"

I give Covercraft a "1" ONLY because it's the lowest I can go. After ordering a sunshade for my 2020 Tacoma, I received a sunshade for a 2020 4Runner. Instead of issuing a replacement as I requested, the company refunded my $80--but only after forcing me to pay for the $20+ return mail. Meaning the mixup cost me 25% of the original price and I still don't have a product. In terms of the return process: It's easier to send mail from Siberia! First I had to call. Then I had to wait for an e-mail. Then I had to take pictures. Then I had to return the product. The process took better part of a month. In the meantime, Covercraft's Marketing Team sends as many as THREE sales e-mails per day--flooding my account. Never... again, Covercraft. You've lost a customer for life.

I did look into your order, and the part number entered at checkout was for a 2020 4Runner, which is why the system processed it as a standard return rather than a fulfillment error on our end. That’s also why return shipping wasn’t covered.
That said, your return process should not have felt so complicated, and I apologize for the inconvenience and delays. We’re actively working on making this process easier and more streamlined.
Regarding the marketing emails — thank you for pointing that out. We never want to overwhelm anyone’s inbox, and you can update your email preferences anytime.

Skip the Autobody Armor

Ordered a Autobody Armor (their top of the line cover) for a classic car. The fit is excellent. But the exterior fabric needs more sealant. So now I'm spending additional money on a DIY solution. For +$700 this cover really shouldn't need anything.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Bought a Covercraft cover for my 5th wheel. Used it for two winters and it's completely falling apart. Plastic buckles broke the first time using it. Straps tore. And the fabric is very weak and cheap! I would NEVER use this product again.
Here i am on the third winter, I'm replacing buckles and straps and sewing patches to make it last 1 more year.
I would have been better off sewing tyvek sheets together to cover my very expensive 5th wheel.
This product is complete garbage! DO NOT PURCHASE!!!!

Wrong bottom sent, poor support, No instructions

Wrong bottom sent, poor instructions and poor customer service. I spoke to 3 different customer support individuals and received 3 different instructions. Then they are charging me 25% restocking fee to return their poor product. I highly advise NOT to purchase from this company!

Poor Quality

Basically, I purchased a $850 tarp that I could have gotten from a hardware store for $100. I am in total disbelief of what I received for the amount I paid. I can't even put this cover on the car without fear of scratching the paint. I had to purchase an additional $680 cover to put on the car first just to protect it from the $850 cover. These are the last covers I'll ever purchase from Covercraft Industries - The no return policy is in need of review in my opinion.

Cheaply Made & Poor Fit Windshield Sunscreen

I purchase a custom Carhartt Sunscreen for my 2025 Lexus GX 550 that has significant gaps at both sides and below the rearview mirror. There is no pillar or rearview mirror interference that would interfere with a good fit if properly measured and constructed. This is just poor quality and attention to detail during measurement and manufacture. This new sunshade is made from thin, flimsy material. The storage bag is 8-10" too long, again not a custom fit just a generic bag. Receiving box says this is for a 2024 Toyota Landcruiser/2025 Lexus GX 550 and these are significantly different vehicles and NOT the same windshield, shape or dimensions. Given this is supposed to be "Custom" fit for my vehicle I am extremely disappointed. This is my 4th Covercraft sunscreen over the years, the most expensive and the only one that fit so poorly. I will not recommend or purchase another Covercraft product. At $133 paying for and expecting a quality product I think it sad that the company products have dropped so low.

Our Carhartt UVS100 Sunscreens are custom-fit using OEM vehicle data, and versions of the 2025 Lexus GX 550 and 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser share matching windshield specifications in that data set. This is why the same pattern can be used for both vehicles. Each of our sunshades also includes intentional gaps around the edges and near the rearview mirror. These clearances are designed to make installation and removal easier and to prevent pressure against sensitive interior trim or sensors.

This company does not stand behind their product

UPDATE
Their customer service has NOT contacted me since they told me I could cut my cover to make it fit!
If they working with me to resolve the issue, that’s news to me !

I ordered custom seat covers for my 2016 jeep wrangler which cost over $700 and took weeks to get. The drivers side front seat cover has an opening which is supposed to go over the seat lever but the opening is too small and it does not fit or go over it. After sending 3 emails with pictures showing the issue, I finally got a response telling me that I CAN CUT THE OPENING TO MAKE IT FIT! So, I am supposed to cut my custom cover to make it fit correctly 😡 This company is terrible and I would never recommend them to anyone! They don’t stand behind their product.

OK Cover For The Money

This cover fits nicely and looks great on the car. It also repels water very well and does well in the wind without extra wind straps. I bought this cover in September of 2024 and recently had to go through the return process due to a rip that developed in it. After a little back and forth they agreed to have a look at it and did end up doing a warranty return and replacement on it. Thanks to the people in customer service who helped resolve this issue.

After decades of being a loyal customer for Hovercraft products and the companies it has acquired. I will never purchase another product. The seat covers for my 2025 did not fit and were candidly not what was described. After contacting them they refused to accept my return. Do not buy any of their products go elsewhere.

Front auto covers not 'fitted' but 'lose'

Ordered a set of front covers for 4Runner, paid over 300 for supposedly fitted covers that included headset and console. Order was a week late. It did not include console cover and is not fitted, it is 'custom' which means 'lose' fit. Called to return and was told I would have to pay not only shipping but also restocking fee (TBD by them once received and it could be anything between 30% to 50% of cost paid). A truly 'fitted' set of covers would be approximately 500+.

Just tried to install; passenger seat cover does not allow for seat adjustment controls so this not for a 'Limited' model of the 4Runner.

Order had no way of securing the bottom…

Order had no way of securing the bottom portion of the seat cover (I.e. no straps, Velcro, pillow). Customer service said they would send replacement & ensured it would go through “quality control” to make sure it was correct.
Received second set with again, no way of securing the bottom portions again.

Seat cover didn't fit

Seat cover didn't fit. Reached out to see if they could send a new one or give me a refund. The customer service rep is a bot and kept saying they are "waiting a response from a higher support". This went on for months. It's just a loss at this point. Useless.
