We have purchased several different models from this dealership and have been delighted with the vehicles and after sales service. For the latest and previous CRVs our sales contact has been Ben Lynch who has been excellent he is knowledgeable about the Honda products and services patient with our deliberations and a pleasure to deal with. Based on our experience very happy to recommend the Cox dealership in Southport.

I have had an extremely stressful and unpleasant experience dealing with Lancaster Volkswagen (Cox Motor Group) after purchasing a new Golf GTI.

The issues began almost immediately, but culminated on the day I picked up the vehicle. I was casually informed upon collection, "Oh, there's only one key. Volkswagen will deliver the second key in two weeks." It has now been nearly three weeks, and despite having the car, I still only have one key and no resolution.

The post-sale customer service from my sales advisor, Declan Donovan, and the broader dealership has been dreadful. In an attempt to get this resolved, I even reached out directly to the CEO of Cox Motor Group, Mr. Cox, but my emails have gone completely unanswered.

The total lack of communication and care after taking my money is unacceptable. Looking at other reviews, it is clear there are systemic customer service problems at this location. I strongly advise potential buyers to look elsewhere.

All the staff we encountered at Blackpool Honda were very friendly and helpful, particularly Oliver.
Despite being young and new to the job he was very engaging and couldn't do enough for us which certainly helped us to decide to make a new car purchase.
We were never rushed or made to feel under any pressure and he made the whole process as smooth and hassle free as possible.

5 stars. Mark was great to talk to , very knowledgeable about the car and everything it has to offer. Had a good test drive my wife loved the car 5 mins after sitting behind the wheel she was sold on it happy wife happy life 😊

We came to enquire about the new Super-N. As we were looking at the display model Oliver came to see if we needed help. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and polite. He very honestly admitted he was new to the job and asked us to bear with him. He needn't have worried, he handled everything very professionally. He arranged a test drive and when we decided to buy, he explained everything very clearly. It was a pleasure to conduct business with him and he is a credit to the company. PS it was very nice to meet up with Andrew again and lovely that he remembered us from when we purchased our current Jazz.

Also they have a great service department if and when needed always very helpful and courteous.

I have had many Hondas over the years and decided, to head back to Kendal Honda for my new car. I've known Michael for some 17 years and it was good to see him again. It was the first time I had met Elliott though and it was he who looked after us throughout the purchase process. He looked after us really well, just what I had been used to at Kendal Honda, and he made it a straightforward process that enabled us to remain excited about buying our new car. I would thoroughly recommend bothe Kendal Honda and Elliott in particular.

Extremely disappointing experience with Chery Southport.

My dad ordered a brand-new vehicle over 7 weeks ago after being told by the sales team (Tom and Ben) that stock was due to arrive. Since then, the communication has been extremely poor, with constant delays and very little transparency around what is actually happening.

I previously worked in the motor trade myself, so I understand that delays can happen — transport issues, logistics problems, and unforeseen circumstances are part of the industry. However, you still provide customers with realistic updates and take ownership of the situation. Unfortunately, that has not happened here.

Seven weeks later, we are still without the vehicle. To make matters worse, we have already received the V5, which just adds to the frustration when the actual car still hasn’t arrived.

I have called the showroom weekly for updates, with calls often unanswered and emails receiving no response. When visiting the showroom in person, nobody seems willing to take ownership or provide a clear explanation. It genuinely feels like we are being avoided because nobody knows what is going on.

I do appreciate that a courtesy car has been provided while waiting, and I understand that sometimes things go wrong, but the level of customer service when purchasing a brand-new vehicle has been extremely disappointing.

Buying a new car should be an exciting experience — unfortunately, this has been nothing but stress and frustration.

Purchasing a new (to me) vehicle was a smooth process thanks to the salesperson Craig who was very helpful.

I contacted Cox Kendal Honda 4 weeks ago, stating my interest in upgrading to a new car. I was quickly contacted and an appointment made to visit Kendal Honda. From then on I was in the capable hands of Elliott, who guided me through all the options available to me. All in all a seamless process from start to finish and I'm now a very happy customer with a brand new car - all done in 4 weeks.

We did not feel rushed or pressured into anything and there was a perfect amount of customer care. Staff were all really friendly. Andras Moricz went out of his way to get to know us, quite frankly, he was just the perfect gentleman, happy to have a bit of a laugh with us but stayed professional. Since the initial purchase he has been updating us regularly regarding the buying process, he seems to genuinely care.

Staff are very helpful. They have guided us through the process. Happy with the outcome as always. Highly recommended.
