We booked the 10-day-Package with Cozy Vibes travel and spent a great time in Algeria.
Everything was arranged perfectly, we had excellent guides with a very good knowledge –both in englisch and history and culture. They always took care of us, responded flexibly to our wishes and let us feel save and comfortable during the whole trip.
We got an extenssive impression of the wonderful country. However visitors should be prepared to accept some short nights for taking flights to the dessert destination or the oasis. But it is absolutly worth to see and to spent a dessert night in a small tent, well supplied by the Tuaregs.
Before booking we had an extensive email-contact to clear visa, payment etc – any email was answered detailed and promptly.
Visa assistance and airport pick-up worked also (except two little delays) good and reliable.

Io volevo visitare in Algeria la capitale Algeri, il Tassili da Djanet, l'Hoggar da Tamanrasset. Mi sono rivolto a Cozy Vibes Travel nella persona di Abd El Djalil Tifas. Il programma elaborato ha previsto una durata totale di 13 giorni dall'Italia, dal 8 al 20 aprile 2026. Tre voli interni Algeri Djanet Tamanrasset Algeri, assistenza completa in Algeri e nel deserto, dove abbiamo pernottato in tenda. L'assistenza nel deserto è stata a cura dell'agenzia turistica Tamiramar nella persona di Hamza Chikh e, nel Tassili, è stato particolarmente competente come guida Aouameur Kamal. Io e mia moglie, una coppia di ultra settantenni, siamo stati seguiti ed accompagnati con grande efficienza e massima cortesia da tutte le persone citate. Così abbiamo affrontato bene anche i pernottamenti in tenda nel deserto, precisamente 6 notti, ed 1 notte nella costruzione in muratura all'Assekrem. Il viaggio è stato di grandissima soddisfazione. Grazie a tutte le persone citate. Giudizio finale ottimo.

Unser 9-tägiger Algerien-Trip war rundum ein voller Erfolg! Wir waren absolut zufrieden und begeistert von der Vielfalt und Herzlichkeit, die wir erleben durften.

Das Essen war einfach super lecker –

Natürlich muss man sich ein wenig auf die Kultur einstellen, aber genau das macht den Reiz aus. Sobald man sich darauf einlässt, wird alles sehr entspannt und authentisch. Wir haben viele witzige und herzliche Begegnungen erlebt, die uns noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben werden.

Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die Hilfsbereitschaft bei individuellen Anfragen – sogar bei der Organisation von Fußballtickets wurde uns unkompliziert und engagiert geholfen.

Die Reise mit Djalil von Cozy Vibes war perfekt. Wir waren eine Woche in Algerien(Algiers, Constantine und Djanet) unterwegs und alles war super organisiert. Auf Sonderwünsche, wie andere Zeiten für Inlandsflüge oder den Besuch von Fußballspielen wurde sofort eingegangen. Alles lief super pünktlich und immer in einem witzigen Umgangston. Well organised from start to finish.
Began our short trip to Algeria with a welcoming lunch at Djalil’s apartment prepared by his wife.
The whole trip was well structured and included transports guides and some meals.

We were three middle-aged/elderly couples from the UK, Spain, Finland and Greece and participated together in the 10-day tour organized by Cozy Vibes Travel, covering Algiers, Ghardaia, Constantine and Djanet. The programme was well-balanced, covering many of the most important sites to visit in Algeria. Without going into description of what we saw and experienced, we will concentrate on reviewing the experience with Cozy Vibes Travel.

On the positive side, there is lots to say. We started with a delightful session cooking with Djalil’s wife and mother-in-law at his home. Everything in the travel plan was implemented as promised in advance. Djalil and his team of guides were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and made their best to make us feel comfortable and welcome. They were punctual and remained with us even at odd hours when needed. All our guides, Murat and Abir in Algiers, Yusuf in Ghardaia, Wahil in Constantine and Ibrahim in Djanet, were excellent. We were particularly impressed by the broad level of knowledge about the history of antiquity, and erudition and skills in English language of our guide Wahil in Constantine. The drivers were courteous, responsive to our requests and reliable.

We were surprised to see such a wealth of antiquities from the Roman period; the historic parts of Algiers and Constantine were all truly awsome. The Ottoman palaces in Algiers and Constantine were a particular delight. The night in the desert was a unique experience. Overall, we were impressed by the friendliness and kindness of the Algerians we met during the trip. The Algerian food was tasty and of very good quality. Furthermore, we felt completely immune to any suggestion of threat or violence during the whole trip, in contrast to the warnings of multiple travel advisories. No doubt, this is a credit to Djalil and his team.

On the negative side, there is some little to say. A complaint is the poorly managed hotel in Constantine. Djalil agreed with us about this and will not use their services in the future. The multiple night-flights were an inconvenience but apparently unavoidable. If you want to see a lot in a large country within a short time range, you have to be prepared for inconvenient travel schedules. Day-time travel would have limited the time for sight-seeing.

In summary, we were highly satisfied with our trip. We would like to compliment Djalil and his team for the excellent job they did. We can highly recommend Cozy Vibes Travel for those planning to visit Algeria.

We had a great time with Djalil, our guide. He was very dedicated to give us te best time possible in the desert region of Tamarasset and Ghardaïa. Would definitely recommend going on a trip with his company! 'ik draag mijn schoenen!'
