Just started my first course so early days for finding my way round the website, and haven’t checked out all the resources but pleased so far

I have been glued to Nina Campbell's course. She shares valuable insight and practical tips. I look forward to delving into more courses.

So much insight into a wonderful range of creative, interiors and gardening options. I bought the 12-month pass and have almost run out of time. It is really great value. I've most enjoyed learning about paint with Edward Bulmer - and the practical aspects and insights in Rita's courses have also been so useful.

I found out about create academy through listening to Sarah Ravens podcast. Sarah has introduced some of the teachers on her podcast which I really enjoy. Too be honest it is the treat of my day and now watching create academy too. 100% recommend informative and inspirational just love the passion that’s there brilliant

I LOVE IT!
I have been loving the gardening courses so much…I couldn’t decide which one to get…so bought a subscription for the year. I love how each one has a different design (in terms of type and color) - so they truly feel like different experiences. So happy I signed up!

On top of being a beautiful garden designer, Butter is a generous teacher. Each course is practical and unfolds in a way that sets the building blocks for creating my own garden design. I especially appreciate the resource list with all the plants. This is a course I’ll watch many times over as I build and grow my courtyard garden.

Having really enjoyed, learnt a lot gained and was inspired to make a number of contemporary quilts from your Julius Arthur course, I find myself very disappointed with designing small gardens course from Butter Wakefield
In the first part she just talked with no illustrations and the few over head shots were not enlarged to help you see her plans.
I was hoping the course would have helped in providing help in how to prepare the garden for your design, what soil, drainage etc but she only said the contractors did this. Not even advices to how to go about finding contractors. (if one can afford them.)
There was lots about enclosing the space with trellising but all the examples were on to brick walled gardens.Nothing if one has inherited low fencing.
She talked about plants with only using scientific names and not even showing the species.It was all about her working with clients but nothing about some simple ideas to use in small spaces. No talk about how to create a garden which is easy to maintain, with out a gardener.
I printed off some of the workbook notes and the type was far too small to read and were not proof read.
Large pots 800cms in diameter !!! That is bigger than my garden. Also when talking about size and scale she never articulated the measurement scale she was using.
The filming was very static and didn't engage with what a garden might look like.
In all I find myself very disappointed especially after my previous engagement.

Butter has already given me lots of useful ideas about how to se my terrace to its full! It helps that I feel we are ‘on the same wave length’ - wonderful suggestions for choices of plants, pots, garden furniture.
Her enthusiasm is infectious and she has shared with us both her own garden and 2 other examples of a brilliantly planned small garden. Her step by step approach to design is 1st class…sound, practical advice!
I sent a DM to her too via Instagram and she replied immediately! Very impressed.

I am loving this course. There is so much to learn, I will need to go through it more than once.Butter is very inspiring. I can't wait to re-design my little garden and get it working for me at last.

It was well filmed and very informative with details that I didnt know before.

An excellent course which is very well paced and organised. It simply and clearly communicates the basic technical skills of botanical art. Within a couple of lessons one is practicing and improving.
Katherine Amies is a wonderful, encouraging and inspiring teacher. I do hope that she does a follow up course.

I am loving the single course I purchased by Tess but I am a little miffed that I should have signed up for the subscription as I'd love to receive more courses.

Truly inspiring. So much information at your fingertips whenever you want it. Enthusiastic tutors and very knowledgeable. Great value for money. I’d definitely recommend joining. I’m sure there is something for anyone who likes creating things.

I purchased Katherine Amies course on botanical painting. It was short on content, didn’t explain enough about mixing paints, subject composition, techniques and you are unable to actually see her pencil outline drawings.
Save yourself £97! And watch you tube videos instead.

The color theory course with Edward Bulmer was outstanding. Organized, informative, exceptional. I truly loved it. I really well and truly completed the course (as I folded my children’s endless piles of laundry) and received zero incentive to review it.

I appreciate how the interior design courses teach you to create beautiful spaces rather than just showing you the final product and expecting you to fill in the blanks.

Love the passion of the course leaders and the variety of courses available. The instructions are clear and the courses are all inspiring. One thing to note though is that the upholstery courses use the modern method, so if you want to use springs, tacks and traditional fillings then it is not the course for you (however the instructor is still helpful and it’s a good entry level course). The annual membership is a no brainer in my opinion.

I’m really enjoying create academy, it’s unique and very well done, have really loved Rita Koenig and the drapery and decorative painting class, so far…all the instructors are great and so willing to share their secrets…I’m looking forward to the lampshade class…
