Went to their premises in person as I live near by. Before paying for my intended purchases I was told that I would have to provide (i) my full name, (ii) my email address, (iii) my mobile phone number and (iv) my residential address! Upon telling them that I would not do so, I was told quite bluntly that I couldn’t buy from them.
I got what I wanted from some very nice people in Ealing instead.

Having placed an order online for trousers and shoes I realised there was a chance they may not arrive in time for when I needed them. But phoned and spoke to Jim who said he would do his best to ensure the items were despatched the same day. Not only that, he phoned to confirm they had been sent and they arrived the next day!

Trying to get a refund is proving very difficult. They didn’t have the item in stock, so no chance of ever receiving the item
Don’t rely on a rapid delivery
Very disappointed with the experience. I have been waiting for my sons cricket bat now for over a week. Last Monday I was promised delivery by DX DELIVERY but every day this week including today the delivery has been cancelled and my much needed bat remains in storage.
Twice I have contacted cricket direct and staff have promised to look into it and call me back and twice they have failed to do so.
The delivery company they use is very hard to contact too.

Still not delivered despite advice that it would be received today.
Boots ordered, or so I thought
Ordered a pair of boots for sons birthday 4 days ago, marked as sent on the website order tracking.
Chased today, only to be told they're actually not in stock and would i want something else - NO I don't, and why didn't you tell me that when I ordered.
Won't be rushing back, unless we're desperate and can accept woeful service.
One star is being nice
One star is being nice, ordered a bag arrived broken/damaged trying to get a refund is turning into a nightmare, unfortunately I am unable to print the courier label to return it, asked for them to post the return label but no they won’t assist or help, said I should pay to get it returned another way!!! . So wouldn’t say they offer a great service found email response rude as well.

Was sent used cricket pads
Was sent used cricket pads. Completely denied that pads were used. Did not sent our replacement pads as promised. Horrible experience- Never again.

Ordered a pair of shoes on Tuesday, they were delivered on Friday, all as advertised. Can't speak for anyone else who's had a bad experience, but can confirm that company clearly does exist.
Avoid if you can as service is not great and not sure if they still have the policy of not refunding full amount

They have refunded the postage charge which was paid by me. It shouldn't have to come to this stage where i have to send them 3-4 emails and phone calls, to which they refuse to acknowledge that they are not the one who are paying for delivery and returns. Anyway, it is sorted now, hence i am changing my review to 3 stars!

Avoid these crooks on all cost. Fist of all, very slow at processing orders and returns.
Secondly, they charge for delivery, which basically means you have to pay return charges if the items is not what you like it to be(specially you are buying shoes as they may not fit perfectly). They dont refund in full, that is, shipping charges! they happily sit on others shipping charges, making people pay for delivery and retunes. Avoid these crooks, they may be in business but you know how many types of crooks are in business! If there was a zero star, i would give that to them! there is a reason they have 1 and half star rating here at trust pilot!
They are legit ...... just not great.
I placed an order for pads, thigh pad and bag and chose them as they had what I wanted and had the best price. Having recently ordered an electrical item from a website that was a proper scam site I read the reviews for Cricketdirect and had a sinking feeling I had repeated my mistake.
I therefore decided to call and was please to be answered and given information that allayed my fears. The next day however I was told the pads were not available but the rest was being sent. I said they could either refund the postage or cancel the order. They provided a refund for pads and postage and ultimately I am happy with the outcome. As the title says ..... they are legitimate just not very good!
Cannot trust them
I received my order from them, but communication is poor and am so lucky that it was only £6.00 that I spent and not more, so it doesn’t really matter if the item is fake, but I was horrified that a guy had spent over £200 on a bat and didn’t get what he expected. Shocking that they are still trading in my opinion after such poor reviews.
I don’t think I would trust them with any other orders. I’d avoid if I were you.
First and last time to purchase from…
First and last time to purchase from this company. Encountering a clear fault on a £250+ bat on only its second use, how any bat should be used. I was returned with condescending and patronising customer service response, failing to offer any support or take any accountability. If you encounter an issue, which the likelihood is you will, do not expect for it to be dealt with or even entertained.
We have raised a complaint with the bank. A complete lack of customer care alongside a substandard product. Shop for your cricket items elsewhere.
Worried after reading reviews but…
Worried after reading reviews but actually very good service. Cricket bat ordered and delivered. Bat face split soon after. They collected and assessed damage and replaced bat promptly. However now the replacement bat has cracked as well. I'm very concerned about the quality of their products.
Terrible customer service
I placed an order 28th April, it was taking so long I sent multiple emails cancelling which were ignored. I called numerous times but got no answer. When I finally spoke to someone on the phone I asked for order to not be sent but it was still sent. It finally arrived on 10th May.
I returned the order (which they did agree to pay for at least) on 13th May. By 26th May I still had no refund and chased up to be told it was in a backlog and may take up to 10 days.
worst company I have bought from in a long time!
shocking customer service - they don't answer emails or telephone, ignore all communications to cancel orders and then take over a month to refund an unaccepted order - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
