Cancellation is a nightmare.
Tool works fine, but there is no option to cancel the subscription on their website and has to be done through live chat with a simpleton who doesn't understand what hes doing and wastes my time. Took me 30 minutes of speaking to 'Dave' to cancel it.

Surprisingly impressed
I was slightly dubious about this website, not because I had heard bad things about the company at all. But more so because I am well experienced with companies online and aware of "tactics" shall I say. What I mean by that is, when they start you with a price such as they did "£2.90 today, £19.99 billed after 14 days, cancel any time". A lot of companies make it hard to cancel, however these do not, and its quite straight forward, and the chat facility is excellent. I decided not to cancel straight away in the end, and in regards to the website and its functionality it is easy, produces quality CVs with a good choice of templates effortlessly. What I will say is sometimes it can appear "overly professional" or, clearly indicate it is generated by AI, specifically the "personal summary". Which, I'd like to be able to tone down slightly. But, overall, would 100% recommend, cannot fault the website or customer service.
I have read some of the negative reviews, and I can agree in a sense that when looking through Google, this website does display as "free". And, you're not informed until right at the end of a charge. However, I do not think £2.90 for a professional CV saving hours upon hours creating from scratch and trying to find a template that'll stand out is bad value. If you cannot afford £2.90 then I would recommend just creating your own.
In terms of billing, unless they've made it more clear since the reviews were published it makes it 100% clear that you'll be charged a larger fee after the initial 14 day period, and cancel subscription is clearly visible in the account section. I do believe at times, the fault lies with the user of the website not reading clearly enough.
