Told a decision was made. Then told my resume was never submitted.
CyberCoders told me “the recruiter and/or client decided to go in a different direction,” which clearly implies a real evaluation and decision occurred.
After I asked for clarification, they admitted my resume was never submitted to the client and that the job requirements had changed.
That means no client review happened and no hiring decision actually took place.
A recruiter’s name was used to legitimize a process that never occurred. This is not ambiguous wording. It is a direct contradiction.
Candidates are told a decision was made when in reality the role shifted internally and no evaluation was performed. That makes the application process unreliable and indistinguishable from noise.
